  • Is it me or is Dhalsim blue?

  • stop bashing on ken, this is actually a hard matchup for ken anyways.

  • OMG 1:18 SHIT PANTS MOMENT

  • If this is a Japanese tournament, why is the in-game announcer speaking English?

  • that ken is beast!

  • Whenever I see a shoto, I always cheer for the opponent. When two shotos fight, I barely watch. :D

  • lol at the end dhalsim was like im going to tickle your foot and ken was like no!!!!!! and he died

  • stupid guy...i think he don't know how to use ken at all...if it was me on his place i think i already beat that dhalsim like hell...why must he ran away from him..if you wanna beat anyone using ken especially a slow fighter like dhalsim you should stay close to him..ken is flowchart fighter, he should apply his speed over dhalshim and keep close to him so that he could hit him easily..

  • I think all this "cheap" and "overpowered" stuff is what is known as gamer excuses.

  • You would be correct, this coming from a gamer himself. OP and CHEAP are simple ways for people to say 'Oh noez I lozt u muzt be OP HAX HAX HAX!' ...But I would never do THAT!

  • Although, Cheap can also mean someone just doesn't know how to counter another move that the same person keeps using. Ryu's Hadouken for example.

  • @theluiginater It is not a matter of knowing how to counter. Since there is no money or prize at stake, the outcome is ultimately irrelevant; we play to enjoy an exciting and varied battle. Having every single opponent throw fireballs from the other end of the screen for three rounds straight is repetitive and most definitely not exciting. Victory has very little influence on how much fun one has -during- the battle; for the record, the best matches I've ever had were mostly losses.

  • @Lioyd1rving ...My bad for misunderstanding...I'm just sometimes a bit mad during a fight that I tend to forget it's all for fun, not victory...of course, victory doesn't hurt either. And I enjoy fights a lot more when there's variety instead of 'Hadouken, hadouken, hadouken, hadouken, hadouken' and so on.

  • @theluiginater At least you understand. I couldn't say the same of...oh, 80% of fighting game players these days. :p

  • When it's way overpowered, they ban characters and relegate them to god tier. Tiers matter, since when a player with a higher tier character fights with another player of equal skill that uses a lower tier character, the higher tier character will win most of the time. However, if the skill of the player is so great, then they can play lower tier characters and still own. Watch some videos of Kuroda playing Q. That was part of the reason why I got into fighting games.

  • Dhalsim deserved a Teleport Skill!

  • No such thing as 'cheating' in a fighting game :)

  • @B54L

Then I suppose it's A-OK to blackmail my opponents into giving up.

  • First it's not the character who's cheap,it's the player who makes it cheap.Second:it's cheaper a sagat/ryu/ken spamming projectiles and shoryukens/tiger uppercuts. But there's always a way to counter cheap tactics. If you can't it's your fault.

  • Dhalsim isn't cheap. In fact, the Shotos, Sagat and Blanka are far worse, especially where Online play is concerned. Skilled players who use those characters are few and far in between.

  • lol? how the hell is blanka cheap?

i think you have him mistaken for zangief.

    blanka is very fair.

  • I'm not saying he's a cheap character, it's most players who use him that are extremely cheap. Oh well, that's online play for you.

  • awesome fight, TWO very skilled players

  • zangief is the most boring character to watch .. a good viper player is always pleasing to the eye

  • I would like to see an pro Dan :D

  • I'm reading these comments and people still insist that Dhalsim's teleport is cheap. A well-timed anti-air attack can counter the teleport. If you wanna talk cheap, Capcom should take a long, hard look at Zangief.

  • wow this dhalsim is SOOO SHIT HE MISSED LIKE 2 OF HIS ULTRA'S AND 1 OF HIS SUPERS

  • This Dhalsim is very good. I could list a number of things that he does that make him out to be an advanced player, but the video should really speak for itself. As for the missed ultras/super, those are traps/setups. As weird as it may sound, the ultra especially isn't always meant to hit the target. Often enough it's good enough to create space.

  • zangief owns its between zangief dhalsim sagat and ryu.. but then again any character could be rank 1 sakura is quite able. =]

  • Dhalsim is so well composed

  • this teleport-thing is cool ^^

  • LMFAO omfg listen to commentator at 3:42 "Shuuryoukan!" man these guy are awesome.

  • Their like Japan's answer to Mexican sports commentators for soccer/football

  • good fight

    ken plays well

    but dhalsim is featured

  • What do you mean "Dhalsim is featured"?

  • he is ranked 1 in SFIV

best character.. got lots of advantages

  • Not really

In most tier statistics, Sagat is number 1 and Dhalsim is waaaaaay far.

  • oh yeah i forgot Sagat is no 1

but what i heard is that Dhalsim is no 2

third is blanka am i right baqssam??

  • Nope, not even close.

On the EventHubs tier statistics, the top 3 are:

    Sagat, Ryu, and Zangief

  • dhalsim is for REAL pro players who cant be botherd to play in easy mode on hoduken fighters....

  • that was an intense 2nd round! (the rest was great too, but the 2nd round was 0_0)

  • Dhalsim= Knowledge+ skill= power

  • I'm guessing these are using arcade sticks? I just got sf4 and loving every minute of it (i'm a noob). But I was wondering if the sticks are alot better than the ps3 controller, enough to fork out 30 quid?

  • i'll say my performance has gone up substantially since I picked up a stick. i learned how to play SF in the arcades though, so...

  • yeah, i couldnt play this game without a stick

i picked up a shitty one first to see if it was worth it now i cant wait to get a decent one

  • you cant buy the Tournament Edition one anymore until sometime in April. The crappy Arcade Edition one can be found just gotta call around. Personally if you really serious about playing SF4, nothing beats the TE stick. I rather play with the $40 fightpad then the Arcade Edition stick. Arcade stick is not that well made.

  • hey guys im looking for good fights, xbox live gamertag is Trvm SHOGUN, add me.

  • dhalsim is so weird in everyway, and his long range ... cant stand him nor respects him cuz his range is too over powered

  • not really, his legs and arm can be countered by good playes, they are apart of his body so he has to watch what moves he uses against who. it is not as easy as you think and he's very slow. when enemy are in his range.

  • true. i shouldnt be like that considering its takes great skill to play dhalsim. i applaud this player.

  • i refuse to get beat by this yoga looking motherfucker even on the hardest diff level...lol

  • The Dhalsim player is fucking godly. Makes me wanna practice up my yoga :)

  • i already am and the newbs cannot defeat him ROFL! YOGA FIRE!

  • thats not gay thats talent ..... its not to easy to do the stuff the guy in the vid is doing. also if you spam teleporting you may end up dying quite fast!

  • Thats because they play the game correctly. Even the maker of the game claims he wanted the game to be taken back from a sheer combo orientated-bash fest to a sparring game. Thanks to that, it adds a more patient and talented element to it. If you're looking to go all gung-ho button mashing close range rubbish you will lose, just like Dhalsim will lose if he continuously stays at close range, or Zangief at long range. Thats the joy of each character being different.

  • i found streeet fighter 4 on the argos catalogue that comes out on the 13th feb. is this right or a mistake PLEASE ! someone tell me

  • i can wait for dis game

  • That Sim player is inspirational! Sim being low tier my ass!

  • Dhalsim has almost always top tier in SF games. It's just that Sim mains are sort of rare and he's all skill. But when people are good with him, there's nobody that can stop him. He matches well with everyone. Also, the teleportation attack is just devastating in SF4.

  • damn IN HD remix i was getting my ass handed to me by a DHalsim player.

  • wow first time i've seen someone use a dhalsim very well!

  • mmmmhhh looks like dhalsim isn't anymore the weakest player in fighting games

  • he was good in the street fighter II series of games.

  • He was always one of the stronger ones

  • which street fighters are you talking about??

  • Super street fighter 2 turbo, Naturally.

(I don't think he was in SFIII.)

  • he was in alphba too but anyway I mudered him from street fighter 2

  • EPIC Dhalsim

  • A really good dhalsim player

  • Dhalsim.... My all time favorite Street Fighter...

All time favorite fighter in any fighting video game.

Coolest best origin fighter in video game history...
