its def not his first contest, but every1 gets nervious when put on the spot , or hasnt done many tv apperences

No problem and there is no malice perceived. But no, this is not his first contest. They've been cooking competitively since the late 80s and have won at numerous events (including the Memphis in May National Competition, Big Pig Jig Georgia State Competition (of which they've been awarded the Grand Champion position) and even the competition shown on the video). If you're ever around an event with this crew, you should definitely introduce yourself!
