Agreed. Best instrument of the song is the bass. I never hear the guitar in the song anyway. Also, if anyone in the band is going to sing it, it does not seem right if a Part Two member does.

I went to see ELO part 2 in 1996. I was right up front, we got there 2 hours early. I got a chance to talk to Kelly and Bev before the show, they gave me a signed photo of the band, and they were great except one thing that Kelly said really pissed me off big time. I asked him how Jeff was doing, and he said and I quote,

I love these guys so much. I've seen them live A LOT and they beat the original line up HANDS DOWN even without Jeff Lynne. Their onstage chemistry is fantastic. Such talent. Anyone on here making a negative comment obviously hasn't seen them perform live!

Bev Bevan was the drummer who played with Black Sabbath in the 80's. He was the first one who left the group because he hated disco and didn't want to play drums for the movie "Xanadu" soundtrack.

They are awesome¡¡¡ and remember that there are 3 members of original ELO ( Lou Clark, Mik Kaminski and Kelly Groucutt),and 3 more of ELO PART 2(some of them have played more years in ELO PART 2)that others old members of ELO.. There are more bands than the leadre or the founder isn´t and they have played too.

I love ELO PART 2 (now THE ORCHESTRA). They are terrific musics, and very close to the fans, ..

the original Mik Kaminsky played violin, and the lead singer was no other than the original Kelly Groucutt. Not sure whether Bev was drumming. How can anyone say it was bad? It's only as good as the recording equipment. Remember, Groucutt was the additional singer with ELO.
