As my girlfriend and I broke up some month ago, this scene was the first thing i thought - and i had the music in my head, as i spoke to my car (a peugeot 107 *g*) - "let's go home buddy - to the family" :) humour is always the last thing that should die :)
Look it at this way: Knight Rider only had abut 15-20 episodes, that was actually about the story of Michael. Other episodes were just everyday cases, easy and hard also.
You have to separate the cronologicly important episodes, and that way, it'll be a tight story, in the form of a miniseries.
@drfever99 This does seem like a final episode during the story- but the very last scene is all it took to make viewers realize it is not. David Hasselhoff actually wanted this to be the series finale- but the producers informed him that they were not planning to end it like this and wanted to continue on with more episodes. If this had been the last episode for the series- then there would have been no need for Stevie Mason to die and Michael Knight to end up going right back to the Foundation.
Bellissima puntata, dato che la serie di Knight Rider non ha mai avuto una puntata finale vera e propria perchè nella puntata "La spedizione maledetta" non si ha nessun accenno alla fine della serie, questa puntata invece ci sta proprio bene come finale!
@Ryder9079 This is episode "Scent of Roses" which is the one where David Hasselhoff's real life wife (at the time) Catherine Hickland played Michael Knight's girlfriend Stevie Mason a third time and they end up getting married. But right after they exchange vows, the villain of the episode walks in shooting at Michael and gets Stevie instead. She dies right away and Michael decides to go after him for revenge- he even tries to kill him when he tracks him down, but K.I.T.T. talks him out of it.

I agree! People make fun of him and he is the brunt of so many jokes, even in the 90s, but he was a very handsome man back in his day, still is.

I wish TV3 in Lithuania would show this show again! Last time it was on air was around 1999. Is it still on air in Estonia? :)
