actually Logic is'nt the best software available, but more of a complimentary suite for the fully rounded producer, a full set up would include Sybilius, Logic Studio9, and Pro Tools 9. Very Dope cuts man. what kind of keyboard are you using?
nice music. love your setup man.. but you seem to love that chair a lot.. hehe... wonder how many times have you fallen off that chair.. :) just joking..
i dunno about him.... but 1 piece at a time. I have been buying gear since i was 13... now im 25 and i have enough for 2 full recording studios.. i aint got a car though, lol sacrafice.
I use nothing but logic now. I still do all my vocals recording and mixdowns in protools. but wen it comes to producing beats. there is nothing better than logic studio
Do you ever feel that your sound will change when you export logic audio into protools? I did a test and I feel that the audio quality changed,, plus logic plugins will not work in protools, or do you put your logic effects on and then import it into protools with the effects and everything. Im trying to figure out the best way to do it.
how r u exporting? I usually just bounced to a WAV from logic at 24 bits and 96k. then import to protools. Ive never really noticed a difference in quality.. as far as the plugins, like i said, Im used to just producing the beat in full in logic and then moving it as a single track in protools. I dont know if your trying to intergrate with protools as a rewire or sumthing but thats not how I do it. I find it best to just get protools and logic seperate. beats in logic, then vocals in protools.
explain to me how your trying to export? If your actually trying to export a whole logi session into protools as opposed to just bouncing your logic track and importing it to protools, then i suggest u look at some forums and tutorials on how its done..
The only plugins I use are auto tune and some various virtual instruments... They work fine in logic and protools for me, so i cant really help ya there.. message me anytime tho, i know a lotta cool tricks in logic... I even got some sound kits u might like for the esx24 if ur interested.
@slimmivy why are you recording at 96k cd are only 44.1k , i would record at 48k do some batch processing conver the midi to audio export it and import it into protools at 48k for vox and mixing bounce to disk at 44.1k . import it back into protools on a different session with a song from a cd that you think is simular to use as a reference for duplication mastering
