Maybe if Freddie Smith's mom didn't leave him all alone in a park in the middle of a bustling city while she went home and did crack and prostitution, he wouldn't have this dilemma. 5 people have green and blue horizontally striped shirts.
I always loved Grover. He was my favorite, and still is. He had a smart, caring, and a sort of self-depreciating way about him that made him more loveable, I think.
@TheLadyBugg8 I don' tknow how Elmo became the star....he's too juvenile and annoying. I like the sort of whit the other monsters have. Cookie has been great in interviews, kermit always, grover of course :)
Henson and company really REALLY knew how to entertain, inform without being too juvenile. It's like they didn't take the intellect of the kids watching for granted.
Well, according to the book "The Exciting Adventures of Super Grover", he has x-ray vision, super-breath, super-speed, super-hearing, and super-smell. Does that answer your question?
Know what strikes me? That the kid was at a playground without supervision. I don't suppose society allows that anymore, even if some parents might like to. Not so long ago, it was normal for little kids to run around on their own all day.
At one time, mothers would leave their kids alone outside the supermarket (with the older ones watching the ones in the baby carriages). I've seen ads from the 1950s, showing this.
Even the Monty Python "Hell's Grannies" sketch makes a reference to Baby-Snatchers outside a supermarket.

Little Freddie Smith was RUDE AS HELL and unappreciative of the help Grover crash landed just to offer..

He means well, but he makes such a mess of things. How can you not love super grover.

I guess unlike Superman, SuperGrover was not given super strength. What powers was Grover given other than flying?

Sure, now lets see him use those powers in one of these segments.

Super Grover would later try to bend the bars again in the "Follow That Bird" movie. Do you think he did any better then?

Thank you Frank Oz. Would love to see Yoda do the Near/Far bit.

Actually, it is Miss Piggy's voice. So very awesome. I remember these from the 70's. Grover is the best.

That Super Grover really needs to get an education, don't you think?

Super Grover IS the education.
