  • Green Line And Buses!

  • Lego door! I love it!

  • My favorite is green line

  • What is that closing at 0:23? It looks too small to be a door.

  • @batmanmmv I think it's a lego door, or some other kind of toy door.

  • 0:22

  • Doors closing....immmm kind of lost?

  • why does this habe 8,000 views? lol

  • wait.. people have favorites? haha

  • To answer your question, I'll take the PCCs on Mattapan-Ashmont. Wow. You're the balls when it comes to T footage.

  • @Suldog29 Thanks!

  • Orange Line doors. It's the sound of the locking mechanisim. I also like the old sliding doors from the late Boeing LRV's before they retroed fitted the folding doors on them.

  • The one who is the not on the list is new Blue Line car door.

  • Breda Type-8s, nuff said.

  • My fave: the PCC doors. Back in the mid to late '60s, PCC cars were the only type in use on what we now call the Green Line and on the Mattapan-Ashmont line. I'm really quite surprised that any survive at all in the 21st century on the MBTA. The pix I've seen from the Mattapan-Ashmont line show that they look better now than they did 40 years ago.

  • @cleostreet As far as I know, the PCC are the only cars that can be used on the Mattapan-Ashmont Line due to size/weight limitations, although I have never gone on that line before.

  • Blue line doors own all

  • 0:14

was that the trolley at central ave?

i live right down the street

  • Yep it was

  • that was random

  • Mine is an old one that is no longer being used. The Boeing LRV sliding doors that was used on the Green Line was my favorite.

  • The Greenline Type 7 ones at 0:06, I like that door chime

  • My favorite too

  • I love the Bi-fold doors on any vehicle. I am surprised you don't have the doors on the Flyer E800's. Or do you have that somewhere else?

  • Yeah Bi-fold doors are always my favorite, but sadly I didn't get any E800 footage before they were retired

  • Did ya get some footage of the bi-fold rear doors on the E800's at Seashore during your recent visit?

  • Nope, sorry :(

  • idk

  • oh i have a video about those it was like my 4th video, not very good lol. if you wanna see it search "lego subway air doors"

    kinda lame though :P

  • 0:09 was that lego doors lol

  • Mine are:

    1. Creaky and squeaky old PCC trolley doors (0:38)

    2. O. Line sliding doors that go "swwoooosh...click" (0:42)

    3. Type 7/8 folding doors (0:35)

  • i like the orange and red lines that make the chime noise when they close

  • My favorites would be:

    Kinki-Sharyo type 7 w/ doorchime

    Siemens 0700 series

    Bombardier 01800 series

  • Def the lego ones or the ones where the inspectors on the green line are helping out.

  • For some reason all the inspectors I saw felt the need to push the doors closed the day after the recent green line subway collision

  • awesome my person favorite would have to be the blue line, redline, orange line doors closing
