Which, from a martial/military standpoint, may very well defeat the purpose. They would be significantly effective as threats or bluffs; however, trained or strong-willed subjects could call you on that bluff. Sometimes the most subtle or random exercises - the kind that gradually test one's sanity - can be the best at extracting information.
