Sure this game have's it's flaws but it's still a good game. I will never forget this summer playing this game eating zero's and Mnt. Dew and watching jeter hit that 3000 home Run.
This game sucks so bad. Only the biggest virgin nerd gaming geek could get the hang of the swinging in it. Complete waste of $40 for the worst game I ever played.
I'm always intrigued by how the video game graphics gradually get better each year especially for baseball with so many different movements these guys have to keep track of. We couldn't of imagined getting to this point 15 years ago calling it a state of the art tech, but then I'm sure 10 years from now we'll be looking back at these videos as if they were stone aged games...
i can't believe joe maur agian, tim lincecum or josh hamilton. It would be cool if they did different postions on the cover so 25 years later they make "The Show Cover Team" with Ortiz, Maur, Wright, Pedrioa, and Howard

@baseball4life337 Why? He's not the best player in the MLB and he wasn't an MVP last year. Hamilton, Votto, Cano, Lincecum, Hernandez, Pujols, Halladay, or Hamilton would be my choice for the cover, all elite players, two MVPs, two Cy Young winners.
I'm just happy they updated the play by play announcers. Hopefully these guys aren't as negative as the last ones were. The fact they changed them is my motivation to get this edition.
i just hope they fix the range of the outfielders, i hit a line drive in the gap and somehow the fielder just locks onto it and strafes over and sticks his glove out and catches it. thats bullshit! And please get better announcers. fucking matt vasgergian or whatever is annoying as hell. i just mute the game. and another thing, BETTER SOUNDTRACK! i usually sim games when i do franchise or RTTS and i sit there and listen to these god awful songs no one even heard of.
Sorry just had to point that out :P. Whenever the Yanks lose I'm all for the Giants so no hard feelings, I was stoked when they won the World Series, Lincecum is my favorite player not on the Yanks.
For all you guys out there not pleased with Mauer doing back-to-back covers get a custom cover of any player you want for $3 to $5. That will settle that.
@bobunk45 - What are your settings on? All of the camera angles seem to be intuned with the flow of the game.
As for the pitching. This game is very realistic. A pitchers control will get better as the season progresses. Don't look for him to hit his spots early on all the time.
i really hope they fix the problems......analog running is stupid camera changes and fucks u up......when u call for the right pitch in the right zone the box blinks and the ball is at your shoes......so many little things wrong with mlb 10 the show hope they get fixed
@Killwhitey741 Well he had a 1.80 ERA, which is damn impressive but it's Mo, he's expected to do that and has done better than that numerous times. Yanks didn't win the pennant or the World Series, so even though he's my favorite player (and IMO the most talented player of the last 20 years), there's no reason for him to be on the cover. Then again there isn't a reason for Mauer either...
X-Box fans who are "die-hard baseball fans" stuck with MLB 2Kless. You have just about a month and a half to either sell your X-Box and or buy a PS3 and enjoy this epic baseball franchise.
