Second life is better due to the fact that you can do anything you could in real life and more (furrys, robots, role playing and getting pregnant for gods sake) and it only laggy if you use the wrong viewer like viewer 2

I like Second life using firestorm. it just did an update on firestorm. its not slow, and its easy to use if you know where things are at. (FYI-turn your graphics low all the way. trust me its worth it! in case you didnt know.) dont get Viewer 2. just dont do it. it suck horibly. i got to hand it to imvu though, they have good graphics. but SL is my choice

After I saw this I went And tryed Second life so I can vote... Before I thought it was ok but now after downloading and stuff I hate it. IMVU is alot better and here Is why I hate SL...

1. You have to be 16 or older wich is a crap load of shit

2. It laggs like Crap

3. The avatars look like a bunch of old people o.O

4. I cant get into a room because of my 'Maturaty leval' Or something..

When The only thing I complane about imvu is how addicting it is xD

@hitachiintwins1 Let me explain stuff about IMVU and IT'S OWN content restriction. You can only get R content for 18+ people who are verified BY CREDIT CARD and HAVE TO PAY! Second Life you don't have to pay, just prove your identity. They also don't give a rats ass what the content is, unless it's not appropriate for age, or if it's illegal. They are keeping with age appropriate material. If a room is adult, then that's 18+ and you shouldn't be there if you're 15. This is fair.

Dancing is what the local creators make of them, and in both IMVU and SL there are a number of same creators and same dances. But what the difference really is that in SL you can sync 20 people or more to dance, with ease. I'm IMVU it's a challenge to get 3 to do that.

What comes to adult abilities, each site and each user has their own preference. For example, the newer metaverses: FriendsHangout is family oriented and NuVera Online is for 18+. It's all about choices and agreement.

2ndL is great for the cloth and hair. But you really need a super fast computer with loads of ram and a top end graphics card. You can get away with the lag if you lower graphic settings and only film avis that are close up. It sucks for pop ups and text on screen. IMVU sadly wins cause of less or no lag and the models body parts are in proportion. Plus people are more sociable on IMVU.

I'ma put it this way.. I think SL has the true furry Avatar then Imvu. I only said that because well.. they have muzzles and do not really have that human face feature look like Imvu. Imvu has that furry creature muzzle face look as well but it looks like it was just taken from SL... I also think that Imvu has better avatars then SL only problem is that you can not move/walk your character around like you do in SL

and also... the only ones that start flame is the noobs in Imvu.

I LOVE IMVU, Second life screwed me over, it wont work on any of my computers, i have a lap top an a windows pc it slow on both of them an it laggs like hell i would rather pop around the room then walk, i know it sucks about drama llamas on imvu an stuff but i still love Imvu, i cant play second life so im just grateful i can play Imvu
