Gene for sure did not win. I've got an interview with King Diamond on vhs from that time, and King laughs at the whole situation and said that nothing came out of it, except more promotion for King Diamond. King smiles and says "Keep it coming Gene", so it obviously didn't work out just as Gene had planned, that pussy.

Anyway, King used the makeup on this clip on "In the Shadows, "Time", "Into the Unknown" and "Dead Again". Changed it in 1999 on the "9" album.He changed multiple times in KD.

I think it's probaly 83!! There are similar clips on youtube from 'Dont break the oath' tour, i would say it's probaly 83, 84ish anyway!! I am 31 years of age and a recent convert to MF!! it's Snowy Shaw doing the drums, not Kim Ruzz. And you can see that it's Sharlee D'Angelo on bass, not Timi Grabber. In 1983, Don't Break the Oath wasn't released yet, since it was released a year later, in 1984.
