12 or 14 is definitely too young in my opinion. My neice is 12 and she wears makeup, but I think she's too young for it. A child should be a child for a while (IMO). My daughter won't be wearing any antime soon. I think it makes girls look and act far too grown, and I'm definitely not trying to have my babygirl attracting older men. That's just creating another problem.
