You don't need a data plan but you could if you wanted to. I just pay as I use it plan. Otherwise it's like an extra $15 a month for the data plan I think.

Blackberry isnt for everyone. Run the storm on Os 5.0.0.191 and you'll be blown away. i put it up against the iphone 3g anyday. os 5.0.0.191 runs fast on my storm...i would actually say it might be faster then my iphone 3g...i do like both phones...but im more towards the blackberry storm, becuase it has more potenials and it a better multi- task device!

If you didn't like the Storm and still didn't get a new cell phone yet. I would definitely recommend the BlackBerry Tour. It just came out on Verizon on Sunday. Its suppose to be great and is NOT a touch screen!

The Storm isnt for people with big fingers.. My cuz played with mine and he has large hands and he got mad because his fingers was too big to click the rite icons lol..

Well, I have excellent hand to eye coordination and I'm sure I could have gotten more precise with it over time even with big hands but regardless of that, I have never expirened a phone freezing to have to power it off like a computer to get it normal. Not cool.

Just do the updates man it'll fix all the bugs. There always slow with default update.

hey are updates found on storm i have1. and everytime i do memory cleaning it laggs like crazy. and its not cleaning. its supposto make it faster and better but its somewhat laggy without it to. so whats the update or where can it be found

Thx for vid. Am trying to decide to keep iPhone 3G S or switch to Storm. Web on iPhone 3G S is fast and crisper than Storm. However, Storm has better email system. Videos on iPhone easier to navigate. Reception on iPhone so far very good.
