  • Looks like some of us need to take a chemistry to better understand how the hydrogen stick works... Oh yeah the ratio of water is important and this video is very misleading.

  • This discussion is too confusing. I first investigated alkaline waters to produce clorine and sodium hydroxide. But then drifted into acidic waters for use as a natural mildew / fungi killer for organic gardens. Then I found japanese web sites having products ranging from $1000 to $5000. The one thing in common was the high PH and alkaline content. So how come this video show's a sinking PH and rH and claims that's good ? lower ph means less alkaline, which all products have touted as bad.

  • who knew drinking good water was so complicated....Bottom line though, all I care about is if "water4health" or anybody else feel the benefits of drinking with the hydrogen stick water?

  • @naturalculture

I just started three days ago, and have to say that I did feel myself feel better, and

clearer minded, and I think I know how I was before, so I do think the hydrogen does have an effect on me!..I never drank water before, but I seem to sort of crave this treated water now..

  • I just double checked his instructions & he clearly states, there must be a tight fitting lid for reactions. Yet you ignore this fact. Wouldnt this slant the data to your side, if the stick was used improperly?

I found it funny you compare ORP & Alkaline, the stick isnt called the ORP or Alkaline Stick.

    Why didnt you compare Hydrogen?

Ive never met you, but this commercial appears to me -- that is selling your product more important than helping people with their health issues.

  • 1.I did have a lid on the cup for the entire time except during the testing of the water. 2. I compared Hydrogen (alkalinity), measured as "pH" [potential Hydrogen]. 3.I wouldn't waste my money on the Hydrogen Stick. As far as price goes, it is far more expensive. At the rate of two hydrogen sticks per person over 35 [one for under 35], every six months my family of 7 would have spent 1,170 per year for the last 16 years.[Good ionizers range from $875.00 to $4,000 and last for 20 or so years.]

  • Thank you for your reply.

You do not understand the newest trends in water. The Japanese are a decade ahead of us in researching water. The good Doctor has been researching and conducting clinical studies for over 20 years on water. Google him, nearly every paper on ionizers and pH water research on the internet is his. Hes quoted everywhere.

  • @water4health I agree with you totally, I have been researching the japanese industry for the kangen water, the industry newsline, as well as some of the manufacturers..compared to what is seen here and the understanding shown by

those who are marketing, it might be the lack of english or the lack of proper explanation on the part of the japanese, but the basics in japanese is far different and complex but easy to understand..but a lot of hogglewash been

    promulgated on sites as these..

  • He continued his researched and has discovered that rH is more important that pH for health. I wrote him directly and he told to stop thinking about alkaline and to start thinking hydrogen. (Instead pH the potential of hydrogen (pH) the relative hydrogen (rH) is where the impressive results are)

Your video compares apples to organs and is very misleading.

Its not called the Alkaline Stick or the ORP Stick . It has one major goal hydrogen the rest are just free bennies.

  • I looked up the formula to determine the rH of water. This formula uses pH and ORP to find rH. The formula is: rH = ((ORP + 200) / 30) + (2 * pH). Based on this formula, the water I tested with the H-Stick tested (30.66 rH)...slightly better than 32.41 rH for tap water. While my cheapest water ionizer (The Microlite) tested at 19.09 rH. Note all tests were done one hour after pouring the water.

  • The test conducted was wrong, you did not follow simple instructions. In another video on YouTube I just watched the experiment was performed correctly, and the ORP was -270 now do your calculations.

  • my local distributor had mention in Dr hayashi's book, he mention the water with ph10 and orp-200 to -400 is the best, some ionizer have reach -800mv or some cant maintain ph 10 when tryin to get -400mv. does anyone know this?

  • @plasmagic I have read hayashi's japanese site, and what he explains..seems a bit different at what he professes overseas...I dont think you'll ever get -400 from a stick, but this morning, mine, from a different manufacturer in japan, on my 3rd

bottle of 1.5liters, and let overnight, and tested this morning, did go to -268..

on my second bottle, it only went to -168..so my theory is the more the magnesium, gets reactive continuously in the water, the higher the rate of hydrogen gas made,

  • @water4health for best effect, you should use a PET bottle, or the soft drink pet bottle to make sure you dont lose any hydrogen gas produced..or you're wasting your time..

and making the water alkali, and ORP is two seperate issues...but the tourmaline ceramics do have negagtive ions, and they would drop the +ORP of tap water quite a lot, but not to the same level as hydrogen...
