  • wonderful done

  • Good Vid!

  • OMG this combination almost kills me

;`````5 tears from a lot more

  • great vid Bro! God Bless!

  • Thanx. I made it (like most of my vidz) for a friend.

  • Speaking from a historical context I find it disgusting how Christians choose to be thankful to Jesus for sacrificing his own life when almost 18 other messiahs who lived before Jesus did he exact same thing and nearly all had the painful experience of rising from the dead and walking around for a while bearing their fatal injuries. What about them? How can you people forget that they died for you to? By the way, they were all born on Dec. 25 and none of you remembered them this year.

  • Fywacia, I remembered them!! I gave them thanks for undergoing a terrible death for ME. It makes me so thankful!!

  • "Fywacia, I remembered them!! I gave them thanks for undergoing a terrible death for ME. It makes me so thankful!!"

Coralarch, I'm so sorry because I neglected to warm you and now I'm afraid that it's too late. You see when you give thanks to all of those earlier messiahs that the current and acting messiah gets jealous and the punishment is eternal damnation and an eternity of torture with Satan and his Demons. I'm very sorry and I hope to see you at orientation day down at the gates of Hell.

  • Ooopps! I forgot about him and his foul-tempered dad. Sigh....Oh well, let's sin up a storm before we hit the fiery abyss, eh?

  • That sounds good to me, besides according to Christians, Jerry Falwell is living up in the sky in the clouds of heaven and who in their right mind would want to be with him? I heard that Jesus created global warming just to thicken the clouds so that Jerry's tubby ass didn't break through when he walks. I'm afraid of heights so Hell is the perfect place for me. Yes, let's sin and show Satan the respect he rightfully deserves so when we get there he will be nothing but smiles when he sees us both

  • Well, that certainly sounds a very, very valid reason for creating global warming!! But it troubles me that someone who can do that is ignorant of the fact that mustard seeds are NOT the smallest of all. How could the Creator possibly make such an egregious error??

Yes, Satan knows His own- all power and glory to Him!

  • He also told people in his best selling book called the Bible that the sun revolved around the earth. Mustard seeds are one thing, but how do you explain God's mistake over the functionality of the solar system? The answer is simple, man created God in his own image and likeness. The God concept was based on man's limited understanding. The real question is why hasn't humanity figured out that they created God because the evidence of their folly is right in front of them in the form of the Bible

  • H'mm, what verses in the Babble support the sun revolving? Are you referring to the bullshit about Joshua stopping the sun, in order to have more sunlight by which to butcher a few more humans?

  • There's a verse early in the creation myth in the book of Genesis. It's clearly written from the perspective of a man sitting on the Earth's surface and looking upward. It appears when you look up in the sky that the sun revolves around the earth which confused the bible writers. Of course they still believe it was written by God and partially lost in translation. I would quote the verse but I don't want to get my fingers dirty with the pages, I even hate the smell of the damned thing.

  • Sorry. Silly me, I quite forgot that scientific absurdities are translation bloopers, but the rest of the crap is divinely inspired, no matter how risible. Thanks for reminding me of that.

  • I think the real irony here that most people miss is the fact that the Jews and Romans kill Jesus over the one thing that Jesus promotes which is religion. Jesus arrives and attempts to start a new religion surrounding himself and the authorities bring the hammer down. Religion kills pure and simple and this Johny come lately retelling of an ancient group of stories called Christianity is no exception.

  • Its horrible what people do to others! How could anyone have enough hate in them to do such a thing? It makes me sick! I just want to help him! Imagine the pain and suffering he went through for us? I thank him for that...

  • animalover, Nobody asked him to do it, did they? He's into suffering. It pleases God. That's his business, not mine.

  • That's funny, I said the same thing one day in Catholic School when they told me that Jesus died for my sins. I couldn't figure out how at age 5 that I had sinned. It seemed that the adults were attempting to instill guilt in me over someone who I had no control over. And I couldn't figure out how he could have died for my sins before I was born because it wouldn't count. I remember saying to myself that this story doesn't make any sense and that something was wrong.

  • Guilt- a wonderful control mechanism. As for accepting that vicarious atonement, what sort of people are thankful that an innocent person was tortured and executed for THEIR wrongdoings???? What cowards!

  • If your not receptive to the message it's not for you. Many are called few are chosen. No one died for your sins. You'll pay for your sins in the afterlife with interest and that's cool.

  • AWSUME AS ALWAYS

    nite_owl

  • Jesus is but one of many mythical, solar saviours crucified to "save" humanity. From what? Itself? I cannot see how anyone could accept that an actual, innocent person had to be tortured and killed to "pay" for the misdeeds of others.

  • Remember Coralarch that Jesus was a human blood sacrifice to the Sun God. The New Testament tale was crafted out of other solar savior myths. What's truly sad is the story deals with a horrible monster of a God who cares not for the circumstances that its creation must face. And as the story goes this horrible monsters son gives himself as the sacrifice for all provided they buy into the ancient pagan myth. Mankind's real self damnation comes from believing that myths like this are reality.

  • I thought that Jesus himself was the sun god- after all, he did have 12 disciples!! Yes, a god sacrificing himself to himself, in order to stave off his own savage wrath against his own creation, made in his own likeness. Very logical, indeed, if you're completely psychotic.

  • I have a problem with Jesus movies, why is Jesus always portrayed as being semi white, thin faced and long hair and a beard? I have often wondered this, a few months ago I watched this documentary on what Jesus would have looked liked, they dug up remains dating back some 2,000 years in the Bethlehem area, the skulls were quite round shaped as the modern Arabs heads are they think Jesus would have been darked skinned, clean shaven and short hair.

  • Heya Jneil

    Merry Christmas~! ;D

  • ...all the armies that ever marched

...all the navies that ever sailed

Had not meant more than this one solitary life!

    Happy Birthday, Jesus!

  • Nice as always, Jneil.

  • I cannot watch this movie, my son did, we are not real religious people but even my son was touched by it. He said it was sad cause he did not do anything wrong. Well see if we all just took notice of part of what the bible teaches about being good, nice people the world today would be a better place to live.

  • The song really fits the video and together the message really got home. Today I have appointed you my DJ and you've earned it.

  • Thanx bro! I'll get with you soon on our project. Kinda busy right now, but haven't forgotten:)

  • It brings tears to my eyes. thank you!

  • Two Thumbs Up! The voice of reason. God Bless!

  • The actress who portrays Mary, I heard, was pregnant at the time the film was made. You could see a true response as the mother of Christ because of that, I feel.

The setting for the film was in Matera, a small city in the Basilicata with a "Sassi district," dwellings scooped out of rock cliffs/caves centuries ago, so that it could look like ancient Israel. A UNESCO site, I believe. I visited this city in 2005. Customs remain much the same today as practiced my grandmother.

  • That's so true! Also, Jim Caviezel, while on the cross during that scene, got struck by lightning at one crucial moment during that shoot. I'm so glad there are people like you that have a voice.

  • Yes,he said he looked up after it happened & said,You didn't like that take, Lord? Cracks me up & gives me goosebumps at the same time when I think about that!Met someone who was near the set when that happened & supposedly Jim C. was on the cross when it happened and it took on a pinkish glow! They are supposedly speaking Latin in the film (studied it for 2 yrs in HS),but did you catch the decided Italian accent?-- very noticeable when they were counting out the # of lashes-they used locals.

  • ThePassion of theChrist was the most powerful film I saw to date. It serves to demonstrate that there is always hope ...and forgiveness! Some will knock religion in any form&I respect that it's their belief. But when my world gets crazy, esp my line of work, my faith helps me to sit back (instead of boiling over the top-- I think that's genetic!). And often a solution, even if it's just something gentle to say, comes to mind when I stir at night or as I putter around without deliberate thought.

  • Very interesting way to re-experience some powerful imagery.

  • Wow. I don't have the words to comment right now.
