  • They sound great!

  • I got turned onto Tuff Darts back in 78 or 79 and fell in love with their stuff. Bob Clearmountain produced the album Tuff Darts, and later went on to fame as the best rock engineer ever.

I'd love to see Tuff Darts live, but from these vids I've listened to & watched it seems like the band hasn't actually sat down and listened to the album themselves in a long time. Sorry Tommy...just being up front.

I was FOH for The Ventures back in those days and used to play it on the bus; they dug it.

  • hahahahahahahaaahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

  • ohohoho...wait are you a miley fan? are you going to to do to me what miley did to radiohead? cool!

  • hahahahahahahhahahahahahhhahahahahahahahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

  • Man, you still rock!!! Just ordered the CD from Wounded Bird. The vinyl is totallty worn out!

  • LOVE 'Tuff Darts'! The music still has 'staying power' bigtime! Used to listen to them growing up in NY, then OH!!!

  • I just had to play this song for Valentines day

  • THERE's a classic! Love this song!

  • I'd apply this song's sentiments to most of my old girlfriends.

  • This song should have been right up there with Aerosmith's "big 10 inch record" . The perfect hybrid of punk and AOR hard rock.

  • One of the most classic songs ever written

  • Hey Tommy just read about Jeff Salen in Vintage guitar magazine. Sorry to hear about the loss of your old bandmate. Jeff RIP

  • yeah...he was a good guy and a great talent. There will be a memorial show with Tuff Darts and special guests at Kenny's Castaways, NYC on 3/22/08. Are you near NYC? Stop by.

    Tommy

  • Caught your group at the Phoenix in Chicago and the Stranglers were also touring with you. Like everyone else, can't remember the year for obvious reasons....

  • Saw these guys at the Second Chance in Ann Arbor......sometime in the late seventies, it's all a blur now, but they were electric! Still listen to the cassette in the barn! "She's Dead..."

  • I love this. I sent the lyrics to this song to a boyfriend after he stud me up.

  • remember having this LP way back when.....the whole thing was great......1977,78?....

  • I love the Darts, why did he turn his head during the "give head to king kong" lyric, was this a Disney theme park?

  • these guys rule!!!...wore the grooves off this album back in high school...what GREAT memories this vid brought back!!!!!!........thx a million!!!

  • Love it!

  • thanks for posting always loved this band

  • Great song that I loved ever since I bought the original LP in the late 1970s. I think I could apply the sentiments to about 90% of my old girlfriends.

  • I remember the Darts from the late 70s punk scene in NYC. My band recorded with them. Their original lead singer was Robert Gordon. Great band.

  • so...who was your band?

  • Major Chill

  • Niiiiice solo, dude! Good bending! Sweet T-Bird, buddy's got there.
