Naturally all of the groups that don't control anything are going to carry either a loathing or an envy of the group that managed to gain the most control. How that group gained control is another matter. Anyways when a person from one of the "less influential" groups complains, nobody blinks. When the most "most influential group" complains everybody looks up and says really, YOU'RE COMPLAINING, you run the country? Who's to blame? That's another story. The funny part is both groups hate it.

Indians as being backwards with an inferior culture of not wanting every inch of its population as educated as possible. In theory and idealistically, everyone is the same, we are all equals and no one is smarter or dumber than the other person, but in reality this is far from the case. Lots of people as individuals or as an ethnic group or nationality have a lot of uneducated, backwards thinking religious dogma, socio-political and philosophical concepts that creates stupidity, not intelligence

The only way someone can truly outperform someone else is when the other "competitive" group are under-achievers. But unfortunately, there are lot of people in the world who deliberately try to be under-achievers and they complain their asses out about someone having "unfair" advantage over them, because the "over-achiever" didn't waste his time focusing on stupid stuff in life like partying and so forth to where the underachievers see the over-achievers as a threat to be gotten rid of.

And the same goes for Christians too. You are religious Christian? Most likely you are uneducated, hence The South, or The Southern part of the United States aka The Bible Belt is nothing but poor people, while the rest of the country that is less religious and have a Humanistic world view have higher educations and live in more industrialized areas of the United States. So no ethnic group outperforms another. Only people in a certain ethnic group or nation will outperform to do educational.

The emigrants from Europe were not underachievers. Very often they were people who had to flee political or religious persecution. Also, they often were hard-working people who decided to seek a better future from what their overpopulated homeland could promise. They were courageous, enterprising type of people, people with some ambitions and will to achieve. Most emigrants are that way, I guess. It's never easy to leave one's native country. Mr. Singh apparently knows nothing of it.

@barsorrro, Not true at all. Let's be honest about American history as well as Australian. Many of the FIRST Irish, Scottish, Welsh and English were deported out of the United Kingdom because they were the criminal and/or undesirable population that the British Monarchy wanted to get rid of in order to, in the Monarchy minds, make Britain a more pure place inhabited by decent law abiding people. It is not to say that non-criminals didn't come to the US and Australia as well from the U.K.

My tolerance level is much lower. I simply can't stand any reference to ethnicity as allowable in discussion. People are not cats, dogs or horses. There's no proof for any "race" or ethnicity being superior or inferior, and even if it should be, then it's an inherent element of any advanced human culture to either disregard this completely or to try to reduce the handicap. But, IMO, all handicaps come from educational chances and conditions--they have little to do with ethnicity per se.

Those type of Christians have banned in some Southern States in the USA the teaching of science, because it goes against their Bible education. The same reason why Arab Muslims countries are a mess, they focus on being uneducated religious people than being educated. God is more important than getting a decent Humanistic education.

That same doctor has previously said (can provide source if necessary) that "we should shun popular view that the West can only lead the world to a better future" all while studying in Western universities, writing for Western newspapers, living in Western countries, using Western technology, and criticizing Westerners themselves (made possible only by the Western idea of the absolute freedom of speech, I may add).

Steve.... I've been saying that all the time, if it is so bad here in Canada why don't they just go home. If I had a "home country" that is so good I wouldn't be here. To me it sounds like Sawraj is upset because he is not being praised for his achievements here in Canada, maybe if he were able to achieve that high of a level in India he would have his own personal slaves and people to brush his teeth and do etc. for him.
