I like how this operating system is a very un-functional version of Linux. I personally wouldn't buy it.

Uh I don't think so. They don't force you to upgrade. For example PPC can run Leopard and Leopard runs Mac software. They don't "force" you to upgrade to 10.6. And Linux is made to work? Sure, maybe. But it comes with nothing pre installed that makes it work. It is a hassle. And I am not the only one that thinks that. It can't support any videos I want to play on it without it installing drivers. Then when it searched for drivers, it couldn't find any. Just too much work for something so simple.

What a bunch of shit. Linux, especially the Ubuntu version, comes with everything you need installed including drivers and what is mentioned here in this video. And, to top it off, it's FREE.

On a side note, it can support many video types (Except for the Apple standard which not very many people like anyways) and has a program called Wine which emulates programs for other operating systems. For example, if I wanted Photoshop, I'd download it or pop in the disk, then use Wine.

@dos195 I think MOV is perfect. A lot of people use it. You can't just assume that people don't like it. I have used Ubuntu, nothing worked. Just to get software to install takes forever. The installer is even a pain in the ass. This is Snow Leopard's installer. Agree to the EULA, and click install. That is it.

MOV is not perfect. Max resolution on MOV is about 1600 x 1200 and the operating system won't allow you to go over a certain amount of space until it becomes corruptible. The 48000 Hz sound quality on it sucks nuts as well compared to the 96000 Hz on AVI formats.

In fact, if you think nothing works in Ubuntu, you're either too stupid to figure something out or you're just plain ignorant.

@Hildron101010 my english is bad, but if you want a free [no cost] distribution you have to install by yourself restricted things like flash or mp3 codec, but there are distros like Linux Mint o Mandriva PowerPack that have everything you need since you installed ^^

If macs suck so much, and you really want to put ur point across come up with some reasons, some facts, some experiences, something to support your lame arguments. i've been a windows user for years, i've even tried using linux for sometime (though not the right version i guess) and i swear mac is the best experience that ive had... of course its not perfect, least problems.(wont say much against linux, just not so user friendly 2 switch)

wow... well, i must say, it's nice to hear that linux is being used more often, but - seriously. Lack of hard drive! I would die before i trusted a server w/ all of my stuff. i'm not impressed. also, the narrator's attempt at sounding personal and casual really sucks - a lot.

Hildron101010, It runs off of a internet server.. when your computer boots you login and it connects to the internet then connects to Zonbu's servers in which your PC runs off of. :)

zonbu is seems to miss mentioning linux, free software or open source... I know they are obviously targeting the non-tech user ... but (at least in their marketing material) they seem to fall very short of their social responsibility to give credit/promote the open software community / philosophy that their system is built on.

They come off looking like profiters instead of a positive development for linux and free software.
