Dude that was awesome! I play the blues (mostly guitar) up in Shreveport, La. I have been looking for a new keyboard and I haven't been able to find any decent demo's of the piano sound on this board until now. They don't have one at my local music shop so I have to order it.

You must be a massive Dr John or 'Mac' fan, as you play his style SO well mate! Smooth and nicely paced - no notes are left out. really great to see other guys out there who are inspired by this amazing style. Are you claasically taught? I myself play of a similar way and dare i say standard, but not quite as smooth as you. It's one of those things that comes i suppose? Just very impressive stuff based around one of the best (in my opionion) piano players still around tdoay. Keep it up mate! :-)

Thanks everybody for the nice comments. If you have a few minutes, check out some of my newer videos --live at the local Starbucks. I believe my playing has improved since when I recorded this video. Actually, I believe I could play this piece much better nowadays... at least with less mistakes... Maybe I should look into adding more New Orleans style videos ...

hey man ive got a ques.. that keyboard stand your using.. does that get in the way of your feet and legs while your playing.. im looking to get a stand for my keyboard but don't know if i want an x shaped or another kind.. thanx.. great playing by the way...

Good question.... I like it because it's quite stable and I've got the extra to hold a second keyboard on top, but it does get a little on my way for the pedals.

Your keyboard stand looks amazingly stable - most of these X stands are shaking a lot under heavy playing, except very few of the best.

I also got impression that you would play maybe easier if you would sit maybe about 2 cm (one inch) higher. As I see, you can't lower the keyboard more and your chair has fixed height too, so maybe you could try with another chair - that's what I would.

Thanks for the advice buddy. You are right, the stand is pretty good, and it is already on its lower position. I did though bring up my chair (it can actually be adjusted) a little bit and it does feel much more comfortable (you can see it on my newer videos). Thanks!
