it fulled me with energy even if it was impossible to make me feel like goinggg

    go go freddie boy

  • much more better the live version than studio one

  • thats what i call a live guitar

  • The live versions of songs from that album absolutely kick ass! This is the one tour DVD that features a large number of them.

  • This live version kicks studio version's ass.

  • @carooomargheee I agree with you!!! Deacon Rules!

  • @manuelsuarez1983

    Of course!

  • Amazing song! The guitar solo is addicting!! I kindda wish it could last a few more minutes! Long live Queen!

  • I want this song in the discos, damn! Nowadays disco music sucks too!

  • nice performance. i have this song for my mp3 player and it doesn't sound nearly as good as this. Live rocks!

  • back chat back chat back chat back chat back chat back chat

  • great solo

  • I think John Deacon was the best song-writter on Hot Space, he could write great funky tunes, Brian and Freddie were more into rock

  • Hot Space is one of my favorites - the album of its time - very interesting and solidly done - as everything by Queen though and there are some good songs from John REALLY GOOD ))

  • 0:27 - 0:52 great! Freddie RULES!

  • semplicemente il migliore

  • Only one Freddie Mercury 0:50!

  • day-----ooooooo

  • 2:18 - 2:47 espectacular

  • siiii que solo uffff bravo brian!!!! y tu red special

  • Also 3:46 ....

  • I like this song... is GREAT love it!!!

Queen is the best band ever!!! :3

  • When Queen released Hot Space in May 1982, they were heavily criticised for the album, being quite a departure from the usual rock n roll, with funk and electronica beats. However, all great bands like to try new sounds and experiment. Musicians get bored of playing the same thing all the time. I personally liked the album for what it was, but I do prefer 'The Works' and 'A Kind of Magic'. Rockin!

    Kev

    The Mojitos

  • liked the hot space stuff better live for sure!

but i like the studio stuff too

iono y people didnt like it... just cuz queen didnt do wat was expected from them... they never did, did they? so y was this such a disappointment? some people are just retarded...

  • me suena a western............ je!!!! el comienzo!!!

el Lp mas estilo DISCO de queen... hot space

  • No, Wikipedia can't be a reliable source :D. But nothing says about John playing that solo in the wiki. For the sound you can tell it'ss Brian's guitar... and the solo structure is similar to Brian's so it would be really strange if John played it.

I also have some doubts with Who Needs You, I think John played that solo on acoustic guitar, but I didn't find any source neither.

  • Is that true? Source?

  • even if he wasn't died from aids he will have died from a heart attack for sure!mad!!

  • Freddie knew how to move with each songs he song...very well !!!!

    What a singer !!!!!!!

  • Queen pulled off the Hot Space songs well live - I don`t think they were natural live Queen songs.

  • i love the hot space album. its got an excellant groove

  • brian doing those rakes at 2 26,,absolutely brilliant..

  • MY UNIQUE DREAM

    "SEE ONE SHOW OF QUEEN"

AND LISTEN THE MAGIC SOUND OF THE "GUITAR" OF BRIAN THE LOOSE "DRUM" OF ROGER AND THE LOW TONE "BASS" OF JOHN. THE "VOICE" IMPRESIONANT OF FREDDIE EVEN IN THE HEAVEN.

YES PLAYED THE FOUR IN THE HEAVEN IM DIE FOR SEE.

RESPECT FROM ARGENTINA, SORRY FOR MYs WORDS.

  • Amazing live version of Back Chat...:D

John accepted to add a guitar solo to the song after Brian convinced him that is necessary.....rock on!

  • Of coarse Brian would say that! he's right though :-)

  • Voice, Guitar, Bass, Drums.... All is Perfect!! Long Life Queen!

  • that guitar, and brian are, sorry for the language, but fucking AMAZING. and i dont need to say anything about freddie, this is MUSIC at its best.

  • I wonder how John, the writer of this song, came up with such an elaborate guitar solo, he had to write this song on the guitar, though he usually wrote his songs on the piano (You are my best friend, Spread your wings)

  • When John wrote this song Brian got pretty mad at John. None of Queen's typical elements, or any rock-elements were included in the song. But after many argues, Brian finally convinced John to include a guitar-solo. What is funny about the solo, is that in the "Back Chat"-video (first released in 2003) it was John who played the guitar in the studio, and Brian just immitated it on the video because it's not a typical Queen-solo and couldn't be played with Brians homemade guitar, the Red Special.

  • Wow, good question. Yeah, i think so. Under Pressure is a great song, voted best duet ever. But just for the music i thing this song has more to offer. Just listen and look to the skills Roger, John and Brian show. They are amazing and Fred is always ok! In Under Pressure it's a duel of voices with a nice base line. In a fact, not one of my favorite songs and defenatly not in a live version.

  • The best song from Hot Space!!! Brilliant performance!!!! GREAT SOLO BRI!!!!!!!!!!

  • Great song but do you really think this is better than Under Pressure?

  • immortal song!

  • I like the drums at 1:54

  • I LOVE IT!!!

  • comment me back

    great vid YU

  • extraordinary

  • BACK CHAT BACK CHAT BACK CHAT !!!!

  • I always thought this was a rather underrated song, probably mostly due to the funky Hot Space production. With a slightly punchier rock sound, this song could easily rank among Queen's classic work. John Deacon is awesome.

  • yea word. i totally agree with u!

  • This is a monster song!!!! Genius man!!!

    John Deacon Rulesssss!!!!

  • This may sound strange but one thing I like about Queen is that they actually played their instruments. OK, they looked pretty on stage, but it's actually a lot of technical work to play drums.

  • They prefrom unbeleiveabley well.

  • Like the way freddie slaps the floor with his foot in the beginning

  • LOVELY

  • gran perfomance¡¡¡¡freddie es un mounstro escenico¡¡¡¡

  • great fucking song of Deacon!

  • Deacon genius indeed! This track is just so catchy and energic, and you can tell the whole band it all they've got! Taylor's drum work is awesome, May's guitar solo's are really ambient and Freddie, he as always just deliver the goods in the best possible ways!

  • great album people just don't get it

    deacon genius

  • god wat a band unreal number 1 band at all time rip freddie mercury

  • Jævlig bra!!

  • this song is off the best album

  • i love queen!!!

  • WOoow ,great solo by mr May

  • i agree with u people who say may cant do good solos should look at more of the less known songs

  • I love Queen

I love this song...glad i know how to play it on my bass!

  • One of the only songs you can see Deacon trying some vocals. Unique.

  • brian may is boss.

  • GOD!

  • it`s such a great song,,great ending too,,and this concert (got DVD too) is one of the greatest in music history!! it was so amazing and I´m a pantera and slayer fan, lol . . .and queen of course

  • The guy Freddie Mercury and Queen ruled the world of music, no doubt about it. Back Chat!

  • queen rocks man,

    john's great song

  • I just got this DVD and watched it yesterday. Piece of absolute entertainment and I enjoyed every second of it. They were sooo tight and Freddie was on throughout vocally. This album was quite a step away from their usual sound although The Game opened up a new door as well, but I loved it. I thought it showed their versatility and bravity and as Freddie said at the beginning of the concert, "It's only a blood album... People get so excited." LOL!!

  • where did u get the dvd

  • bobmyers1, you can easily get the dvd at Amazon or ebay for real cheap :D

  • amazing!!! brian is the best!!!

  • back chat back chat back chat lol

  • All their Hot Space stuff sounded so much better live, which they went for more of that live sound over the actual version that was released

  • Thanks for this nice video !
