I'd play this game if there was a new player or carebear server. I can't imagine running around naked for months because I don't have the skill cap or knowledge of the game to compete with the big guilds that have been around forever.

Yeah, Friendly Fire like in UO is going to be something we're going to have to look out for, but that's also a reason why organization in Guilds during fights is going to be important, will be interesting to see how it plays out.

Just like any FPS game out there, sometimes it happens that a bullet goes of on a friend, but eventually your reaction time is so great that you will learn not kill hit or shoot your friends :)
It can't fail... With the full loot, and buildings, housing, smart AI (make camps and move if u hunt them) Farms, hiring NPC's. Guild created cities. The biggest issues with WoW and Warhammer is nothing is really changeable. At the end of the day, the same areas look the same and will be controled the same. In Darkfall, shit can really go down! You and 20 friends in ur hometown could plot a takedown of a small guilds territory, and KEEP it. Hire NPC's to guard it. and build houses!

It won't matter as much because if you get your items looted it's not such a big deal. The game is set up to be skill based, not gear based like in wow. So your gear will do some things but you will not be defenseless without it. It is going to be far easier to get items to. You can just have them tailored and give the guy who made the gear money. That and if you are in a guild or clan you can have a tailorer in the clan to make stuff for the guild for low cost or free.

Well done on the vid. I just Don't get people who say this seems boring.. For those who think this will fail simply do to the fact that it's taking so long to develop, I believe that WOW took 4 years to develop so don't worry about the long wait for this.

Well done on the vid. I just Don't get people who say this seems boring.. I'm just happy there is coming a game wich require the player to have some IQ and actually THINK to be good, not some button smashing level based grindfest:P This is the only mmo with such freedom out there today. You can even decorate your own house, make furnitures etc.

i love the thing in this game that there is no level system so its determined by skill of the player this game is going to own its basically the pvp of WoW the fun of Counter strike the ability to make town of star wars galaxies and a brand new thing of owning ships its going to OWN!!!!!!!!!!! plus HORSE BACK RISING FIGHTING!!!!!
