I don't think it's shallow. It's the day to day stuff that bugs us and makes us unloving toward others. Besides, how many of your neighbors have actually been murdered? Jesus said if you hate someone, you have murdered them in your heart.
Isn't that being a bit shallow? Lazy workers, bad drivers, ugly - these are not enemies. How about people who are murdering your neighbors? How do you love them?
I don't get it. Does the cross in the guy's box mean that he hates Jesus and wants to crucify him?
