If people put as much effort into trying to create real free energy as they do in making fake videos of free energy, we would have solved mankinds energy needs long ago. Don't be stupid, try to create a real energy source.

No, it doesn't need coupling to work. Assuming that it does means you've were able to create such motor. the magnets are positioning themselves to a point were there is the least amount of repeling force pushing against each other, as sort of a magnetic gearing. Yes, it still could be fake but not for the reason you suggest
