I vikingtiden var det ikke grantrær i Norge. Skogene minnet mer om de på sør og vestlandet i dag, men med mer eik. Når jeg så bakgrunnsbildet fikk jeg lyst til å nevne det. Uansett takk for at du lå dette ut på You Tube, synest viking musikk er bedre en norsk folkemusikk.

Feil, grantrær har vært her siden litt etter siste istid.

Fantes antagelig ikke like mange som det gjør i dag, men de fantes.

I tilegg så har furu vært her i 10.000 år, siden siste istid, like lenge som oss.

Skogene her varierte nok en del i vikingtid også slik de gjør i dag, siden det er en del forskjeller i klima og vær i Norge.

Verdens eldste levende tre er i følge Leif Kullman et grantre i Sverige i Dalarne som vokser på et rotsystem som er 9550 år gammelt.

- Tidligere har man trodd at grana kom til Norden i nyere tid. Det stod i artikkelen at gran kan ha kommet til Skandinavia vestfra via norskekysten siden det ikke var funnet noen spor av så gamle grantrær i Finland. Det må ha vært veldig varmt i Norge tidligere siden det ikke er naturlige gran forekomster igjen på vestlandet bortsett fra Modalen som ligger ved kysten og har høye fjell og voss i innlandet.

@Belit82 Well if you dont mind the sketchy route use youtube to mp3 to download these songs right off of youtube and then burn the files onto a cd and there you pirated the songs.....Personally I like this stuff so I wanna see if I can buy it and support the artist

Absolutely beautiful... I love the Bukkehorn dearly.

Hearing it echo around the woods and mountains is amazing... Listen closely to it, and you can lose yourself in the natural calm around you.

Of course, you have to listen, which is what few people do in the current Age - the ring of a cell phone is more important than the beating heart of Earth, apparently.
