This is so sad....I also work for a big european two wheeler company and I perfectly know what it means.
Even if my factory produces a different kind of bikes I've always loved Buell and HD.
It's so touching to feel the passion, the dignity and the great effort behind these sad words.
Good luck Erik and all Buell people, hope you'll find new roads for a better and longer journey

what you get for killing the blast
70 mpg bike in a time $5.00 a gal fuel
but you wanted build race bike i love them too
you should smash them as well,in the smart as way you did the blast .you had a winning hand but blew it
now i can go and buy a jap bike
they are proud of there bikes and would never crush one to make a point

ok just hang on a second... if they were as great as he talks them up to be then Buell wouldn't have folded in the first place... yes there were some clever and innovative ideas but so has every other motorcycle company... Firstly he had to partly sell off & partner with HD to keep afloat, then sold out completely to them and now with dismal sales world wide its no wonder HD pulled the plug... Sad yes but the bikes are junk... its true! A friend of mine owns a 08 XB12R and its falling to bits!

Horrible.... Buell made the best looking sportbikes out of any company, period. The pain in Eriks voice is very evident and heartbreaking.
