  • what a great interview; he is not only amazingly gifted, but his heart is so full of compassion for the LOST. He is also smart, articulate and still as handsome as ever. Saw his wife and him a couple of wks ago, an awesome couple! Linda is so kind and adorable too--Dallas, its not OLD NEWS, it's good news! and u sing it WELL!

  • he was ONE OF THE 1st Contemporary CHRISTIAN ARTIST; "CONTEMPORARY" IS A RELATIVE TERM : ) back then in the early 80's, he was very contemporary. Times change and music changes, just as Elvis was considered too much for tv back then. It's relative to the time we are IN.

His music and good music is timeless. To me, he's like the NEIL YOUNG of CHRISTIAN MUSIC : ) or Dan Fogelberg...GOOD music Dallas!

  • He's not really a "contemporary" artist (more of a praise and worship feel without the repetition) but still a great artist!!

  • @scgirl0410 He was contemporary back in his day, but you're right, not so much now.

  • @musicman70707 no disrespect, but THE GOSPEL and TALENT are never out of style I know what you mean though... : )

  • @robertnelson8312 I hear you. Just saying that he may not appeal to the younger generation today. But I like him a lot and agree that good music is timeless. :-)

  • He was the 1st "comtemporary" singer that I liked at all ! There have been some others. But he is still my favorite!

  • @Katcrazy7 Me too. The very first contemporary Christian album I ever bought was "This Is My Song" by Dallas Holm.

  • He is so right about contemporary preachers teaching prosperity, And Jesus didn't even have a place to lay his head.

Modern Christianity has lost it's way.

Bring back the old time way.

  • i used to sing his song "I saw the Lord" in church and it touched a lot of people when i did. I'm sad to see that there is no music video for this powerful song about a man who had a dream about seeing the Lord. Can someone out there find one?

  • I loved going to Dallas's concerts. I went to the older concerts back in the early 80's. Thank you so much for posting this interview. I really appreciate it.

  • There are so many singers out there that claim to be Christians, yet they are so fake. You can tell the ones that aren't doing it for the money, cause when they sing you can feel the annointing of God. Dallas Holm is one of the VERY FEW that are left that have the annointing. I have been to several of his concerts and the only price I had to pay was a couple can goods to help feed the needy. A very small price to pay for the Blessing one receives by hearing him sing.

  • He's my 16th cousin !!

  • Dallas looks like a 35 yr old!! must be that bible lifestyle

  • He is my 2nd cousin !!

  • GREAT INTERVIEW!! Does anyone know where I can find Dallas Holm's "Parable of The Fig Tree?" Absolutely no one does this song like Dallas Holm!!!

  • Dallas is my favorite CCM artist.God bless him.

  • EXCELLENT.TENstars.

  • Dallas Holm's music has really blessed me and so many others. He's a true CHRISTIAN artist--no fluff, he's about the Gospel..souls..peace

Thank you for posting, nice to see
