@devoludo Agreed. It's rare to see a game of authors that works quite that fluidly, and it was in front of a tougher crowd than usual too (though the New York crowd seems a lot more receptive here than they were in the prior couple of episodes).
Is anyone else noticing how Jim and Chris get premade styles to play in rather than ones suggested from the studio audience? Kind of makes me wonder if they picked those themselves before the show.
They're not bad or anything with what they do, though I don't see them being nearly as good as the regular cast, especially if they just pick what they perform before the show.
@rynesanders8 Im from NYC and I know this was taped here. I remember being in high school and my godfather (who is from Blackpool) was going to take me but they werent allowing people under 16 to go. I know if I were there I would have been having a ball. I loved this show. I sometimes feel really isolated because many americans just dont get this stuff. The sad thing is you would think this being filmed in NY the audience would be less uptight and conservative.
"John Carter, warlord of Mars" - that never gets old.

Mike IS a little loud, but when it comes to singing, he always delivers. In these early seasons Mike and Josie are really king and queen of singing.

I don't really like McShane. As a performer, that is. He just seems... a little too loud

They almost need auditions for the audience so the performers don't have to act in front of peple with sod for brains...

my God these audiences are dead

A very good Frank Sinatra! And a good game of Authors!
Yes, the New Yourk crowd is very tough... and it seems that they just don't notice a lot of the jokes and puns!
