  • Radio Babylon...89

  • @The4GER Yeahhh...this beat sounds real familiar.... ;)

  • itunes on shuffle - this tune came on. seems quite relevant in the current climate in england

  • Bassline tuff, still.

  • bless prince lincoln thompson, forwards in creation but his music still healing the nations.

  • Jerry dammers, the man behind the two tone scene and the specials is in this video, he now just does sound system stuff

  • Proper business from the rebel. I've still got this on tape-single!

Also loved the AA, I can't get no sleep (with the artist soon to be known as DJ Ron, I think..).

    Nice find on the vid.

  • Albulm "WORD SOUND AND POWER"

  • I loved "Rebel Music", but I've never heard this before. It's wonderful.

  • Mate:)

    Look around.

try to match this new uk dicksucker JLS or any like that with any jungle tune.Jungle simply doesnt fit to the throwaway society's pay once get three crap shit.

    Funny,as it can't:D

Like, you can put second thoughts, brainwash, hidden message to this 'G' shit but not to the 'J' shit

What's the business in buying one real Lp in every year for 45pounds?:D

Me found that media is the monster, they stab you in the back then asking for the knife back with a wide smile

  • Maybe if jungle was put out to the world more there wouldnt be so much hatred killing and gun/knife crimes. Its a shame :( jungle teaches peace xxxxx <3

  • I think peace an love an justice should be delivered to all because we all created by same god to have equal value rather than discriminate on sexuality or skin colour. Its like bob marley said "Until the colour of a mans skin is no more significant than the colour of his eyes, everywhere is war"

  • Re: Color Purple posting below.

The man who died was a member of the Double Trouble production/mobile DJ outfit. His name was Michael Menson and he was tragically set on fire by 3 men in 1997.

The other guy was Leigh Guest.

They had a studio called Noise Gate in New Cross (London). I made some demos there in 1987/88. They played me Rebel MC's 1st demo reel-to-reel tape called 'The Rebel', sampling Chuck D.

They offered to produce me and my mate's Hip-Hop group but we turned them down.

  • This whole album had such a profound effect on me at the time. How many times did I play this??

  • what album !!!

i need to find this lol

  • Word Sound and Power. You NEED this album. Seriously.

  • Black meaning good is the album

  • no its not

  • He talks about love, justice and humanity, but he thinks batty boys (homosexual men) should be killed. Doesn't make sense to me. Hypocrite!

  • religion pal, they hate gays as in bible chats bout men n women not men n men n wot not:)

obviously there all major religion heads thats why they smoke so much ganja haha and why not, if my religion allowed me to smoke weed i probally would be a big religion head but as it doesn't i cdnt care for it:)

  • Mike West was murderd back in the 90s, he was set on fire in Finsbury Park, Londom...very good friend of mine. RIP
