@vinesboyseventysix well when your doing 10,000rpm constantly for 1 couple of mins then your engine is going to get really hot so if u regulate the throttle its not sitting on the same rpm constantly which means less wear an tear less heat......do u get the picture?

@vinesboyseventysix agreed.....if you look at some of the best rotary burnouts of all time, they are on it till the end.
getting on and off the gas is the wrong way to do a burnout, in any car.
Some of the worst burnouts are in nz, they try to go through all the gears,and it just dosnt work.

Rotaries will have there owen class to run in at the $10,000 Dargaville Burnout Comp 13th feb 2010 due to a good number of entrants this year THANKS!! the top 5 of each of our 5 classes will make it threw to a top 20 final that will more than likely be run and held on the sunday morning so be prepared to camp. we hope the prize money hits $15,000 again that will depend on crowd and entry numbers. don't forget there is a band, DJs and bar!! We hope to see the Mad Bull up here!!
