I really have to agree with this man. As a minority voter, black, we always vote democrat no matter what. But do we really look at the issues? Although Ron Paul is Republican he speaks for us, us as in middle to lower class citizens and he wants a change for the better. When I was your age I started employment with the state of Florida. I opened a savings account at teh credit union - the interest rate was 6%! State employees got a cost of living raise that year of 5%. Today that same savings account has a .25% interest rate and the last cost of living raise I got was two years ago at less than 3%. The reason why I think Ron Paul is so big on youtube and all over the web is because we actually look at the candidates ideas. We look at what people actually think, we don't buy into hype or party-line bias. I was a republican all the way, but now I think like you do... neither party is looking out for what the people really want.
We dont owe the fed reserve anything, they've been stealing from us for long enough. The fed reserve should have never existed in the first place as our real federal government was SUPPOSED to print our own money thereby not creating all of the problems we have now. Almost every president that has ever been elected spoke out about wanting to abolish the fed reserve system as they knew we would never get out of debt to the private banks (money changers).
The Federal Reserve is a scam by the banking industry to steal the nation's wealth and control its debt. The Fed prints new money at a discount rate and loans it out to the banking industry. The banks turn around and loan the money to the public at a higher rate. By the time the money has trickled down to the public, inflation has set in and it isn't worth as much as it was when the banks first got it. This gradually steals the wealth of the nation.
It's not drastic to abolish our yearly fed income taxes. Or get rid of the IRS. Each person could save thousands of dollars each year. That could go to a new car, home imporvement, New stero, speakers, investment, or whatever.

No, I'm saying the point of an election is to vote for who you want to win, instead of worrying about what everyone else is doing. Like you say, your opinion is just as valid as the next guy's right? The idea that voting for someone who is not likely to win is a wasted vote is really worrying. It is never a waste to vote for who you believe in.
A good definition of a wasted vote would be quite the opposite: voting for A because A looks like a winner when your real preference is B. Choosing the one you think can win is a good idea if you are making a bet on a horse race, but there's no advantage to having voted for the winner of an election.

I believe I recently heard that Independents currently make up the largest sector of registered voters. Im proud to agree that Ron Paul is the only choice for the people. The IRS taxes only pay on defecit interest, true. Losing the IRS would not affect any local change, streets, schools, nothing.

I really have to agree with this man. As a minority voter, black, we always vote democrat no matter what. But do we really look at the issues? Although Ron Paul is Republican he speaks for us, us as in middle to lower class citizens and he wants a change for the better. Taxes are not a difficult subject- Not one penny of income tax collected goes toward services you and I expect from government- it all goes to the interest to Federal Reserve for printing money.

Ron Paul is great because when he speaks, he makes sense to people on either side of the party line. I have a friend who's always been a hardcore democrat, who's never voted Republican, who said that he'd consider voting for Ron Paul.
The Democrats and Republicans are both bought out by special and global interests. Ron Paul can bring honesty and integrity back to our country. We can go back to being the great country we really are!

When I was your age I started employment with the state of Florida. I opened a savings account at teh credit union - the interest rate was 6%! State employees got a cost of living raise that year of 5%. Today that same savings account has a .25% interest rate and the last cost of living raise I got was two years ago at less than 3%. Ron Paul is the only candidate that understands the economics at work here.

We dont owe the fed reserve anything, they've been stealing from us for long enough. The fed reserve should have never existed in the first place as our real federal government was SUPPOSED to print our own money thereby not creating all of the problems we have now. Almost every president that has ever been elected spoke out about wanting to abolish the fed reserve system as they knew we would never get out of debt to the private banks (money changers).

The Federal Reserve is a scam by the banking industry to steal the nation's wealth and control its debt. The Fed prints new money at a discount rate and loans it out to the banking industry. The banks turn around and loan the money to the public at a higher rate. By the time the money has trickled down to the public, inflation has set in and it isn't worth as much as it was when the banks first got it. This gradually steals the wealth of the nation.

I supported Ralph Nader, and now I'm starting to like Paul. Even though they're total opposites in most respects, the fact that they would actually change things is what hooks me. I like that I'm seeing more and more people from our generation looking for drastic change, moving toward a new way of doing things, backing people that just seem honest and direct, and voting for a person instead of a party. Barack Obama because I think he will be a great leader. I seriously think he will be the greatest President in the history of the US. Plus we need to be careful and vote for someone who can actually win and wants to make a change for the better as well.

No, I'm saying the point of an election is to vote for who you want to win, instead of worrying about what everyone else is doing. Like you say, your opinion is just as valid as the next guy's right? The idea that voting for someone who is not likely to win is a wasted vote is really worrying. It is never a waste to vote for who you believe in.

A good definition of a wasted vote would be quite the opposite: voting for A because A looks like a winner when your real preference is B. Choosing the one you think can win is a good idea if you are making a bet on a horse race, but there's no advantage to having voted for the winner of an election.

You are right, this election is a critical turning point! Really it boils down to two choices.. either vote for freedom, or vote for slavery.. Ron Paul=Freedom and any of the other CFR member canidate=slavery.. Hopefully Americans choose freedom..

I hate to tell you, but Ron Paul wants to do away with all regulation. This would give big business free rain to do as they pleased and that means screw us even worse then they're already doing.

Wrong. Ron Paul wants to do away with counterproductive regulation that promotes corporatism, namely inflationary monetary policy international trade agreements that benefit corporations. Most importantly, he not only refuses to accept money from corporate lobbies, he wants to remove the incentives for corporations to lobby. He also emphasizes property rights to curb pollution. If you are concerned about big busness then Ron Paul is your man

Sorry but you're the one that's wrong Ron Paul is a Ronald Reagan Republican, he'll tell you that himself. Reagan put through deregulation giving us the savings and loan scandals and hostile takeovers where an unbelievable amount of people lost their money and their jobs. He's a Reagan trickle down economy guy (give to the rich and let it trickle down to the poor), and let me tell you all that happens in that economy is the rich get richer and the middle class and poor get poorer.

Unfortunately, this particular economic myth has persisted since the infusion of Marxist ideology into the public consciousness. Regulation favors Big Business, for only such large corporations can afford the economies of scale in filling out paperwork. This is essentially a method for the cartelization of politically well-connected businesses.

Like the internet? It's "order-out-of-anarchy" (as opposed to chaos) appears to be extremely beneficial to the individual. According to the thesis of required regulation the internet should be completely unworkable and therefore act as a destructive force.
It should also be mentioned that absence of government regulation is not absence of law. The differences between the two are significant.

Why is Ron Paul being kept off the main stream media? What he says is solid, sensible, advice! He's able to stand on his own two feet, not afraid to speak his mind, nobody puts words in his mouth, and he backs the Constitution 100%. I can't believe this hasn't garnered more support on TV and Newspapers. All the other candidates talk the talk but Ron walks the walk! Great vid Keyede, keep up the good work!

I believe I recently heard that Independents currently make up the largest sector of registered voters. It seems the younger generation is waking up to the fact that Democrat/Republican party polarities is a game of smoke and mirrors to distract us from the fact that they're all essentially working for the same interests--pharma/petro/military/banking/corporate interests. Ron Paul 2008!

I agree with you man, both parties are corporate owned. Just watching how the media and the top tier candidates want him out of the debates is proof that his message is strong! He's being attacked and called a racist as well as a 9/11 truther, blah blah blah. He's the real deal and he truly could save this country and change the direction we're headed, unlike the others. Tell a friend, vote against the failed 2 party system and monopoly of power.

Thanks for the vid. Ron Paul message cuts across the boundries we are raised to believe divide us. I love what he says about how our rights don't come from group rights (Black, gay, or women) but from the rights every INDIVIUAL has. Collectivism leads to Socialism, Communisim, and Fascism. Thats why we a democratic REPUBLIC, not a demoncracy.

Thank you for this intelligent and thoughtful video. At first I thought I was going to vote for Hillary or Obama, but I switched to Ron Paul after I looked into the candidates a little deeper. I like most things that Ron Paul stands for, even if getting rid of Social Security would take away my only means of support. Sometimes we have to make sacrifices for freedom, and FREEDOM is what this is all about!

exactly becasuse for the most part i know that we can trust Ron Paul to do what is right and if what he thinks is right ends up not being so good then he will change actions and try a different approach.. unlike our current govt whose motto is to stay the course no matter what...

Giuliani has no vision for this country or intelligent insights to offer us. He'd be another Bush clone. I can't believe he's even a serious candidate just because he was in NYC on 9/11. Hillary...yawn! I'm tired of the Clinton/Bush dynasty, time to get some new people in there.

Hey Chris (hope the spelling's right), thanks for posting a great vid and sharing your views. Very impressive - such a young man able to think for himself. You and young folks like you are the hope for our future. People like to paint Ron Paul as a crazy extremist, but anyone who has ever really listened to him recognizes the truth. In a sense, he is an extremist - he actually believes in the power of freedom. At best, the rest give the idea lip service.

What is it that people don't get about this screwed up situation? Police state spying and control grid? Military tribunals? Habeus Corpus? Global empire building? Corporatism? Massive debt and the Federal Reserve?
Ron Paul is laying it out for us. We just have to vote for Freedom.
