I've eaten food that fell on the floor (and cleaned it off), eaten a peanut butter and onion sandwich (when I was a kid), eaten food with my hands that were soaked in diesel oil/axle grease but I've never eaten out of the garbage.
You didn't think about why those chips were in the garabage did you? There was probably some reason, and probably wasn't that they just didnt want them anymore' although it could be

Many of my customers are Asian and they have some of the nastiest trash you could possibly encounter...I still love em though, they pay my bills!
I have a 6yd at an Indian meat market, one of the worst smelling cans you cld ever want to encounter. In the summertime, the smell will literally make you sick! LOL and its filled with lots of wriggling wild rice too! Love the shirt too as well as the vid Angela!
i'm not going to lie when i worked if i seen a can that was filled with rice like that we would toss them but only if the people never washed the can the first time it was picked up.
