You can get pulp free juice from a Vitamix. All you do is strain it through a cheesecloth or paint strainer. There is very little pulp left over and lots of nutritious juice left over.
From what I've heard in my research those juicers waste much of the produce and don't last nearly as long as the Vitamix.
what speed do you juice the kale and spinach at?? I find that it all goes to pulp and get very little juice with the greens so I must be doing it at the wrong speed or something eh?
fyi, i've found that juicing oranges works better on high speed and pushing it down instead of just letting it spin around and juice by itself cause whne you push down on it it squeezes more of the juice out.
i have a breville and LOVE it. you will get hooked on health with it! tip...when you do greens, leafy stuff, always put dense stuff in right behind it or at the same time if you can. i cram gobs of collards or kale and before that reaches the blade i set a whole lemon with peel and all on top of the greens, and ginger root, then push the tube down. then follow with an apple or 2. lemon cuts that green taste. put 3-4 carrots at one time, in a bundle with butt end first. no need to single feed!
Because the vitamix is not a juicer (i.e. juice extractor), all it does it crush everything which is why you have to add a liquid to make it seem like a juice.
haha great vid. I will be buying this juicer in the next few weeks. How well does it do with dense greens like kale? Oh, great choice of music too..love the Corp.

We already have a Vitamix and just ordered the Breville. It never even occurred to me to use BOTH for the same drink? Thanks for the great idea!

Why would you use a juicer when the vitamix can juice anyway?
Katie84H 1 year ago
@Katie84H pulp free vs pulp filled depending on your fiber needs

@bcheney7 it does pretty well, I didn't think it would get and juice out of spinach but it did a good job. Kale makes a lot of juice.

@bcheney7 look up life regenerator juice, he does kale and other things, and he uses the breville too
