Mr Ring uses quote "+/- 4 days" from each event (full moon, new moon, perigee, apogee and king tides. This means that up to 100% of a given month can be covered by his forecasting methods. See my video "What is wrong with Ken Rings forecast charts".
He published a more specific forecast: 15-23, 27 Feb, 5, 19-21 March, and 17-18 April. (16 days of three months). Earthquake resources section of the GNS Sciences website say 7 of the eight largest quakes were included on those dates, the 8th was on 16 April. The 9th largest was much smaller than 8th 140t v 370t TNT, so I cut off at 8. He picked the 22 Feb quake as "short and sharp". I felt that true. He also picked E/W. Stats example: pick 2 days correctly from 90: 1/90 x 1/90 = 1/8100 odds
