prop 8 was pure BS...i wonder if the gov had passed a referendum in the early years of civil rights asking if african american citizens should have the right to vote, go to school, etc...

That is SO awesome. Imagine if, back in the early 20th century, men were asked to vote about whether women should be allowed to vote, or in the 50s, if whites were asked to vote to decide whether blacks should get equal rights.
I despise the ignorance in the "description" above. That was NOT AT ALL what she meant by that! It's obvious where this poster stands on the issue. In fact Sigourney is right... people just don't have the knowledge of the gay community that we all should. They are people too just like you and me and have the same hopes and dreams and want to be treated like us in EVERY way as well. No difference! No "you can sit there, you just can't sit there"
All she meant was there is more gay people in New York than there are in than the town East Jesus, California with 250 people living in it.
