am i right in thinking in the movie burger king had built a resturant right near what was Doc's lab, it would have been on his land?

If you watch the opening scene in the lab, there is a newspaper on the wall saying, that the mansion (seen in the 1950s) has burnt down and Doc had to sell parts of his land to developers... That's why, he lives in his garage in 1985 and there is a Burger King right next to it. In reality, there is no garage there. The facade has been installed next to the BK just for the filming of the scenes.

TUNNEL IS IN GRIFFITH PARK, THAT BURGER KING I HAVE BEN THERE BEFORE, THERE IS A TOOL STORE BEHIND IT, I PRETTY MUCH HAVE ALL THE LOCATIONS CLOSE TO ME, THE CHURCH AT THE BEGINNING IS IN HOLLYWOOD, LOVE LIVING IN SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA !!

@haffie96 i live like right in the middle of all the filming locations, Mart Mcfly's house is close to me, and so are the other houses, i even have an annual pass to Universal Studios, I live in the San Fernando Valley, California, like right in the middle of where a lot of movies are or have been filmed , I was at that parking lot where DOC BROWN had that house, next to the Burger King, did not even noticed i was standing until i saw a video on YouTube about the film locations,..

Clever filming. They put the lights on the wall closer to each other at the end of the tunnel. So it appeared to be much longer than it actually was.

I have to say there is some irony here.... One of the first screens has a truck that says Catfish Catfish Catfish. Later you talk to Claudia Wells, the original Jennifer from BTTF. A Wels is a very large European catfish!
