  • The hell, I opened up an I Chomp NY unit booster and didn't get a building.

  • @VmanTheMind Your not supposed to, the buildings come in the monster boosters. You either get 2 buildings or a monster and it's hyper form. How many units did you get?

  • HERE THERE 20.99

  • What are the little card board peices for? and do they come with cards?

  • when you destroy a boulding in the game you use the card to take it's place. the picture is of 3 types of rubble. rubble, fire, and nuclear waste. you only get the waste when you have a nuclear power plant.

  • cool thanks!

  • i just had a look at monsterpocalypse and i think its really cool. but i havent got any yet and im not sure wich to start doing. warhammer fantasy, or monsterpocalypse. right now, monsterpocalypse is my favourite but tell me wich is best

  • Warhammer Fantasy you have to build and paint the miniatures, which can be very difficult, and you'll have to buy all the paints and brushes to do it. But even though, Warhammer Fantasy is a very popular game. Monsterpocalypse is also very expensive but is a good game and you don't have to paint anything. Not a lot of people are playing it in my area though :(.

  • ok i dont realy want to get too much warhammer so i might play this

  • monsterpocalypse is awesome!

  • are both the tanks grunts, or is one elite?

  • One of them is Elite, the one with more orange painted on than the others. Check around 8:58 in the video for a better look.

  • you know Swift an I chomp New York unit booster is $9.99. thats a little better pricing.

  • Monsterpocalypse is way cheaper than warhammer 40k

  • Agreed...it seems like a worse deal because you use less miniatures and the miniatures are prepainted and all. However, you need so much less to play a satisfying game. I can spend 100 dollars on this and get far more than enough to play games. 100 dollars in warhammer is enough for a small army, unpainted and unassembled. Not that that is a terrible thing (I used to play 40k), but Monsterpocalypse is a better value if you love your giant monsters, etc.

  • I'm not really interested in the units, but I do like the buildings. They'd be good for Car Wars.

  • The buildings might be a little small for Car Wars. But, it might work. You can find singles of the buildings for around $3-4.

  • I found out why the empty plastic bags are for. They are to make all the boxes weigh the same to make it random. Some models weigh more than others, so it balnces them out.

  • Ohhhh, makes sense I guess. With other games I try to get the heaviest boosters in order to get a large figure :). Ohhh I've ordered some singles, so I'm getting a Deimos-9 soon, and will be able to finally test the game out :).

  • i got a cube thing in my starter

  • No...monsterpocalypse only has weight modifiers with DRASTIC weight differences. and they don't use the bags. that wouldn't at mass, just volume. they use a little rubber cube.

  • Ahhhhh, thanks for clearing that up :). Yup, I haven't gotten the rubber cube yet, but I guess the packs I got were already heavy. Still, these boosters sure have a lot of packaging O.o'

  • I agree with you on the packaging part but not so much in the what you get for your buck. it just started so they can't give so much away they still have to make money.

have you played it i want to know is it good?

  • Well my main problem with it is that the starter only has enough for 1 player. I had to pick up another starter and got another Cthugrosh :(. I really need to get another monster. I'll be testing out the game during the holidays with people. So, I'll probably have a review video up in January :).

  • Yeah, I guess that's a problem, but if you got you and your friend to buy one each it would work out. It's way better to do that. I'd say it's better than the GW start sets as it only has 1 rulebook and 1 set of everything. If you and your friend each bought one which is cheaper than spliting a GW starter. So I'd say compared to GW it's a good deal.

  • Ohhh believe me, I am not a fan of GW's prices :(. But true, these games are meant to get into with groups and be able to trade, which is what I do with Star Wars minis. There is a local group of Monsterpocalypse players. But I will try the game out with some relatives over the holidays first. Don't want to be a total noob when I meet the local players :).

  • Lucky my area has nobdy to play with
