But they ALL pale when compared to the original cast from the early years:

Aykroyd, Belushi, Chase, Curtain, Morris, Murray, Newman, and Radner. The best.

Myself, I don't dislike Sandler, but he certainly isn't my favorite, but he was with the show during a time when it was pretty good.

As you said, it could be age, because I am at the age where I watched the original shows in the 1970's and I don't think any of the later shows ever came close. But I did like the early 90's shows, Sandler included. And of course, Farley was one of the greatest.

I read this amazing book written by Chris Farley's brother, Forgot what its called but I suggest y'all read it. It pretty much tells you the story on how Chris got hooked on drugs on alcohol. It's sad because he stayed sober for 2 years and couldn't hang in there. RIP Chris, you will always be the funniest person to have ever lived and we all miss you.
