This fight is really simple. Its a matter of controlling DPS. Not balls to the wall. We three shotted this boss, fight night we saw him. Mimiron actually gave us more problem's (Warlock tanks suck imo)

Only thing I'd suggest for a boss fight video like this is to have a way of showing new people what each of the adds, areas and abilities do. Maybe you could implement some arrows pointing to different parts or mobs to hep clarify what is what while explaining the fight. I wasn't sure what was going on during certain parts and had to read the guide at the same time.

I'm a shadow priest, if Ice blocks work to get out of those tentacles in phase 2, I'm sure dispersion should too. I'm going to try that out the next time I get gripped by one of those things. I know that dispersion works great in earlier bosses. You can get away with using it in the kettle/pot fire boss when you get thrown in the kettle and with the right/left arm dude when your in his grip.

Hey guys, I just thought I should put up a quick update. So I tried the whole dispersion thing and it DID NOT work. I stayed trapped. /sigh. But you can use it to reduce the damage you take while your up there. I also found out that you can heal yourself while your up there and do damage to the thing grabbing you. You aren't even restricted to instant casts. Even Channeling works fine. My mind flay (a channeling spell) had no problems.

when we were doing phase 2 last week, we had 2 healers (shaman, druid) as we expected it to be an area with alot of incoming damage... as the vid states this is not so much the case, though having heroism in the brain room is a tremendous help.. we used it on first portal phase and according to sated debuff we would have been clear to heroism again in P3 at the point where we would focus on yogg. all around great fight imo.

CT_ViewPort from the ct mods page is the one i think he is using in this video.

There's a similar addon called CR_Viewport but I think that has been discontinued, the CT addons are well maintained so probably a better option :)

I believe that addon is called "Sexy Map" Not 100 percent sure though. Allows customization of the mini map, you can change the shape of it and other stuff like that also. His could be different though. But it looks like sexy map.

The adds in Phase 3 have a Buff on them which increases their Melee dmg significantly so the more adds that are spawned the faster your tanks will die. the Faster you DPS the faster this buff becomes nothing more then childs play (adds in phase one)

Algalon the Observer is only available after you've defeated the 4 watchers on hard-mode (Mimiron, Freya, Thorim and Hodir).

Only then you get a quest for the summoning of Algalon, as the watchers were alive in this video they did not kill them on hard mode, i.e they aren't able to start Algalon yet.
