I've had my H50 since Jan 2010 and although it isn't as noisey as Mishaisabotnicu's, it has been making a weird "buzzing" noise for some time now. In fact I only just RMA'd it last week.
I like the H50 but it shouldn't be making a noise. In the age of silent cooling, where you can pick up a cheap Yate Loon fan for a couple of £'s that runs silent with no problems at all, then I refuse to believe that the unbearable noise of a H50 is "normal".
Fitted my H50 Today, it has exactly the same noise as yours. This is not normal as stated on Corsairs Forums. I thinks its just luck of the draw if you get a silent one or one like ours. Very Annoying buzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
got mine a year and a half now and before i had no sound at all, loved it.
now it started to make same buzzy sound going to return it for another one or to fix problem

have had mine running for 3 months now with no complaints - even got a decent overclock and the temps were still lower then i expected

sounds like you dry humped it before testing. :P mine is not like that at all.

mine is not even a week old just double checked it! It's making a clicking sound but very very... ultimately quiet! Far from that level of noise!
