I din´t like James before this performance.. but he sang this song SOOO FREAKING GREAT , that I started thinking he deserved to win.. it´s a shame he didn´t , after his performance I lokked it up on youtube and played it a million times xD ... and .. he got recognition even from Judas Priest themselves.. so he got his REAL BIG PRIZE after all :) he is just great!

The AI voting system will be the death of that show yet. If it were a one-phone/one-vote system, a talented guy like James (or Chris Daughtry before him) would not get voted out early. Much of the show revolves around making AT&T buttloads of money, though, so they'll never fix it. Might as well just count on whoever the rocker guy is getting voted out at 4th place, and then running out and buying his music more than the winner's music.

Adam Lambert is vocally better than this guy. This guy is exaggerated when he hits high notes which it is his forte but his high notes are not in thick quality like most 80's, 90's rocker vocalists have. I go for Bo Bice then 2nd Chris Daughtry ever most vocal rocker contestants in AI history.

i honestly believe idol is rigged. James has NEVER been in the bottom 3.. then *poof* he's gone. Out of ALL the talented & clear favorites on Idol, it boiled down to LAUREN (WTF?!?!) and scotty. how the F does that happen? I read an MTV article the other day and Nigel, the executive producer, called the fans "MORONS for believing I manipulate everything" "they're 7 & 8 yr olds" that just shows he doesn't give 2 shits about the fans or the contestants. Read the comments- Nigel is pissing us off!

The AI voting system will be the death of that show yet. If it were a one-phone/one-vote system, a talented guy like James (or Chris Daughtry before him) would not get voted out early. Much of the show revolves around making AT&T buttloads of money, though, so they'll never fix it. Might as well just count on whoever the rocker guy is getting voted out at 4th place, and then running out and buying his music more than the winner's music.

He is my favorite contestant ever! But i had a feeling he was going home either this week or next week. Rock and roll just doesn't appeal to as many people as country or pop and it's such a shame. Adam Lambert is vocally better than this guy. This guy is exaggerated when he hits high notes which it is his forte but his high notes are not in thick quality like most 80's, 90's rocker vocalists have. I go for Bo Bice then 2nd Chris Daughtry ever most vocal rocker contestants in AI history.

It's not easy to have a range like what? He struggles to hit any of those high notes, and he surely does not carry a "melodic quality" when he tries in vein to hit these notes. It's a serious embarrassment to someone like Adam if this guy wins. You would like to see me do better? I'm not saying I can... I am saying that this guy is an Adam wannabe, and I can't believe that he is even on the show. American Idol is seriously going down hill, and I wouldn't be suprised if it was off air shortly.

It is NOT easy to have a range like that, yet still have the ability to carry a melodic quality. I'd like to see you do any better. Comparing Lambert and Durbin is like comparing Bon Jovi with Dio...Lambert is more glam rockish while Durbin feels more solid heavy metal. Even Lambert himself on twitter thinks Durbin is his own singer. Like it or not, Durbin has a huge fanbase.
