It is so distressing to see how our society disrespects and disregards the pain of our animal friends - the beautiful, trusting, voiceless, precious beings we share this planet with. Dogs are indeed man and woman's best friend, but often we are their worst enemy. We can do better than this in 2010, it's not rocket science, simply stop breeding for profit, stop selling animals as though they are pieces of furniture. This would make a huge impact to end suffering and would be a new beginning.
I have three cats and I'm so glad I saved them from the unthinkable. Seeing them all curled up fast asleep on the blanket on the rocking chair with a full tummy is priceless. If I had all the money in the world, I would save these poor helpless animals.

Only one breeding pair of dogs per breeder to be bred every other year and the puppies are their responsibilit for the remainder of the dogs life. Anyone not in compliance should have ALL assets taken and sold as a fine for the state coffers. Cruelty should be treated as if animals were children under the law. The animal control officers in this vid obviously detest the dogs they are picking up.

i worked in a vets and i had many rows about euthanising healthy strays, luckily he was not to keen either so we didn't do it but i did have to argue my point. i've also had to turn down jobs in certain animal shelters cos i will NOT be a party to this, it's appalling and heart-breaking! it's also another reason why people were bring their animals to me and i am not funded in any way. i'm broke now but my animals lived!
