Yet NOBODY has here or on the Internet or anywhere else even shown or reproduced JUST ONE that said the end would come in 1975. No Watchtower headline, no brochure, no tract with that headline.
So if the "Watchtower" is a "false prophet" it was a very very QUIET ONE.

For the real lowdown on "1975", one only needs to read a Watchtower article from the Nov. 15, 1966 issue, starting at the subheading "The Year 1975" on page #631 Brother Franz of the Governing Body gives his councel on the subject. I Can't speak for others, but when I was exposed to the JW's when I was 10 years old until I was about 18. I felt constantly bullied and unhappy.They thrived on the doom and gloom parts of the bible. It was like being forced to worship out of fear, instead of joy. It took me many years to remove their dogma out of my head.The focus was always the end times and going out and drumming up new recruits. Most were nice people, and every one of them I bump into now have animosity toward all religion.

Any reading of the history of the 14th century shows it to be one of the most awful times in history. Has an appointed time. so misunderstandings happen but the main important thing is to remember is that it will not be late. The generation will not pass. The best way to end this is go by what the bible says. first, no one knows when the end will come except Jehovah, not even his son, second it will come like a thief in the night. no one can say when they will show up huh? As time goes on ones understand the bible more. Yes JW have made errors, but the main teachings have not changed. I never seen it said anywhere "this year is the end of times". @samgesan That is not what that statement means, Jesus uses it to point out a swine would not know what a pearl is & how precious it is. He was referring to teaching ones and them not listening to is beauty. Many do this. almost like talking to a wall. I have seen copies of Russells studies in scripture, and he originally stated that 1799 was the beginning of the end times, ( now 1914) and that Christ invisably returned and that 1914 would be the ned of the system, and would see the complete overthrow of all earths existing goverments and the full establishment of the Kingdom. When this faliled he pushed the date to 1915 ! I have seen copys of the origianl docs. Be informed !

I have seeb the date 1799, if they changed it again then they are even less reliable than I thought. Also 1914 was originally the end of the 'time of trouble' not the beginning. The watchower changed it to the beginning latter on. Later on still they made the outragiou cdlaim about the 1914 generation, that I quoted earlier. Russell claimed the world would end in 1914 and when it didn't happen he moved the date to 1915. I have read the witness book Millions Now Livin gwill Never Die, published in 1920. It clearly predicts the ressurection of Abraham Isaac and Jacob in 1925. I know what I have read. You may want to stay with the WTBTS, but at least be informed.

FYI-The "Truth" is that CT Russell believed that the time of the end had come in 1799, that Christ was invisibly present in 1874, that he was enthroned in 1878 and that by 1914 Armageddon would be over and that the earth would then be fully dominated by God's Kingdom of a 1000 years. These are the facts and the revisionist history presented here and implied rather cleverly elsewhere in their literature hides the fact that it was not until the 1930's that this old eschatology was abandoned.

He stated this was documented IN the Watchtower, and he had the approval of the Tract society in making the proclamation.

Jehovah's Witnesses have published BILLIONS of books, booklets, brochures, tracts... a veritable HUGE FLOOD of printed publications. The greatest religious publishing arm in the history of the world.
Yet NOBODY has here or on the Internet or anywhere else even shown or reproduced JUST ONE that said the end would come in 1975. No Watchtower headline, no brochure, no tract with that headline.
So if the "Watchtower" is a "false prophet" it was a very very QUIET ONE.

I Can't speak for others, but when I was exposed to the JW's when I was 10 years old until I was about 18. I felt constantly bullied and unhappy.They thrived on the doom and gloom parts of the bible. It was like being forced to worship out of fear, instead of joy. It took me many years to remove their dogma out of my head.The focus was always the end times and going out and drumming up new recruits. Most were nice people, and every one of them I bump into now have animosity toward all religion.

Any reading of the history of the 14th century shows it to be one of the most awful times in history. The best way to end this is go by what the bible says. first, no one knows when the end will come except Jehovah, not even his son, second it will come like a thief in the night. no one can say when they will show up huh? As time goes on ones understand the bible more. Yes JW have made errors, but the main teachings have not changed. I never seen it said anywhere "this year is the end of times". I know now this would never be said. People are human, mistakes made, not false prophets though

Jehovah makes sure we are fed (spritually) at the right time. after all, could you eat a months worth of food in one setting? Your right mistakes have been made. but the major teachings have not. We know more today, than in 1914. Just like as in the medical industry. with time new treatments are discovered. Jehovah is perfect. man is not. We follow christ the best we can

He was referring to teaching ones and them not listening to is beauty. Many do this. almost like talking to a wall. Therefore, the swine are ones not listening or just ignoring the truth and the pearl is the truth from Gods word itself. The "faithful slave" is suppose to supply the food and you must eat it even though it could be rotten. One of the publication of the watchtower had a footnote that said that they were fallible and have had to change many times, in other words, they've been giving the wrong food! You call that faithfull or holy spirit guidance?

There was a huge campaign highlighting 1975, kicked off with a book called (something like ) freedom everalisting of the sons of God, published int he late 1960's ? They had other predictions, 1914, 1918 , 1925, and the 1914 generation will not pass away till they see a secure new world etc ! Non of their predictions came true.

THey predicted the last days would begin 1914.... Look at mathew 24 for the signs of the last day and christ presence and say whetever or not the 1914 was true...
Allso they had predictions about rising up into a worldwide preaching group.. so i can truly say that i after studying the evidences am convinced it is the true religion

I have seen copies of Russells studies in scripture, and he originally stated that 1799 was the beginning of the end times, ( now 1914) and that Christ invisably returned and that 1914 would be the ned of the system, and would see the complete overthrow of all earths existing goverments and the full establishment of the Kingdom. When this faliled he pushed the date to 1915 ! I have seen copys of the origianl docs. Be informed !

I have seeb the date 1799, if they changed it again then they are even less reliable than I thought. Also 1914 was originally the end of the 'time of trouble' not the beginning. The watchower changed it to the beginning latter on. Later on still they made the outragiou cdlaim about the 1914 generation, that I quoted earlier. They only changed the teaching because the 1914 generation was about to die out ! By all means be a member, but at least be honest

I have read the witness book Millions Now Livin gwill Never Die, published in 1920. It clearly predicts the ressurection of Abraham Isaac and Jacob in 1925. I know what I have read. You may want to stay with the WTBTS, but at least be informed.

FYI-The "Truth" is that CT Russell believed that the time of the end had come in 1799, that Christ was invisibly present in 1874, that he was enthroned in 1878 and that by 1914 Armageddon would be over and that the earth would then be fully dominated by God's Kingdom of a 1000 years. These are the facts and the revisionist history presented here and implied rather cleverly elsewhere in their literature hides the fact that it was not until the 1930's that this old eschatology was abandoned.

As a matter of fact, the very LAST meeting I ever went to was a Sunday talk where the "brother" on the stage (a young one) said with a straight face that the Society had NEVER said the end was going to be in the '70's. That was just TOO much for me. I KNEW they did. Quite a few others did also. I saw heads turn, and people look at each other. But this IS the "party line" of the Society now...it didn't happen.

Sorry but your truly wrong on this,how i know is that in 1973 i became interested in the JWs and wet to the occasionall study i also visited the Kingdom Hall but only a couple of times and no one ever told me that the world would end in 1975,but they did say that 1975 would become a marked year in world events,i am not sure if it is but there is no doubt that they never claimed that the world would end,sorry to rain on your parade..

1975 and 1914, 1915 and 1925 were all dates established by the Watchtower as probable end times. Sorry to rain on your parade.

That is a remarkably stupid position to take in light of ALL the physical evidence to the contrary. Charles Sunutko's speech was heard by thousands. The literature sits on my shelves. The scanned documents are avialable on the internet.

Hey man, i acused no one of lieing and i was never aware that anyone in the JWs ever predicted the end of the world at anytime,if these guys who are in this Vid want to excuse there stupid behaviour why blame someone else.i swear to you now that NO one who understood JW beliefs would ever predict that the world would end at anytime,you can have as paper evidence as much as you want but you will not find a deffinite prediction from a TRUE JW as they admit they do not know when the end will come

Charles Sunutko, the Circuit Overseer for the JWs in 1967, gave a lengthy national speech to the JW assemblies in which he stated unequivocably the end of days would be 1975 marking te end of 6000 years of human history.
He stated this was documented IN the Watchtower, and he had the approval of the Tract society in making the proclamation.
You cannot erase history. This speech appears countless times under the mantra "Stay Alive til '75". You are ignorant to state otherwise.

Maybe you should do a little more research and maybe watch the vid "Stay alive 'till 75." - And BTW, I WAS there. I did more than the occasional study...I was a pioneer and servant during this time....and they DID predict '75 over and over. -- Sorry to rain on your little one car parade.

Common sense and logic tell me Islam and Cults are very closely related. The wiki basics of islam are a great front, same as Tom Cruise's basics of Scientology. It's when the veil is peeled back that you see the truth.
You look at Islam from a washed down western version where a pork sandwich and a beer are ok. That's not true Islam.
