In my experience the problem with two dogs of the same age living together is that they hold eachother back. Best to get the second dog when the first is around a year old.
Awww... You just brought tears to my eyes . I'm so sorry to hear that. What happened to Sampson? They are awesome dogs and so loyal and yes busy for sure. We just had our little girl spayed and she doesn't even really seem phased. Vet wants us to keep her calm... keeping a pointer calm is a challenge!!!
They are the best dogs around, mine died on his 2nd birthday. Saddest day of my life, in 2 years he had more life lived then any other dog i have owned. Busy boy, smart and fast. Miss you sampson
