Two teams this year alone benefitted from getting rid of Me myself and IVerson. The Pistons, who weren't going to make the playoffs with him, get the 8th seed.
And the Nuggets, after trading Iverson are currently tied 1-1 in the WCF. Iverson never even carried the Nuggs past The first round. LOL!
He wouldn't come off the bench for the Pistons and faked a back injury to sit out the season. Walton played hurt.

You say Walton never averaged 28ppg, has I verson ever averaged more than 7 rebounds per game? How about 3,5 blocks per game? Can you find a center in NBA history who has averaged more than 5.0 assist per game in a season?

Making any comparison between walton and iverson is utterly dumb. You're comparing two individuals that play on completely diff positions and are players of completely diff profile, playing in two diff eras of the nba! Also, basketball is not only about statistics..i love iverson. but walton led his team to an nba title and his low ppg stats for his career are due to his injuries.

No, again, Iverson's numbers are bad, horrible even, for a shooting guard or a point guard. Look up Kevin Johnson or Steve Nashes field goal %'s to see what it should be.
...and were not even talking about the defense here. Iverson at 6'0" is extremely easy to shoot over as a shooting, giving longer guards a big offensive advantage.

Walton was the better defender, averaged more rebounds and shot blocks. You could have him out on the floor during the ends of the 4th quarter without having to worry about him being hack-a-shaq'd. Better passer down low.
Shaq could definitely score better. That's a given, unfortunately for you there is more to basketball than just scoring, which is probably why you never made it past 2nd team all state and Bill Walton is a legend.
