  • Cube did roll up with gangs

  • Ol times

  • I like the intro to this show... It really reveals the mentality of the times. I wish it was still like that today.

  • Pump it Up was The Shit!!!!!!!

  • @Airsoftcleaner

I second that!!lol Dee Barnes is the sure shot!

  • This is the interview that caused Dr. Dre to beat the crap out of Dee Barnes ???

  • @raininginhell That was still fucked up because she was a reporter that was her job to interiew him.

  • @051290ma I don't disagree, that's why i framed my comment as a question. As if Dr. Dre was a moron for freaking out about this interview.

  • Thanks for puttin' this RARE Ice Cube interview with Dee Barnes. Damn 1991 when Cube was "The Nigga Ya Love To Hate" and rollin' with Da Lench Mob thru' tha streetz of South Central L.A.

    Peace.

  • Now he makes family shows...

  • @absdilsey What's wrong with making money?

  • This was the show back in the day!!..there was no internet in those days, you really had to LOVE hip hop and BUY cassettes! Not like these skinny jean wearing downloading pretenders who have killed the culture.

  • @saalakhanREBORN They learned from you how to kill the game I promos it was all gradual!

  • Yeah Cube was on the sidelines when it came to actual gang activity but brought those inner city project tales with a dope lyrical delivery & image that portrayed that lifestyle.

AMW & Death Certificate are Cube's dopest solo projects in my mind music messages are still very relevant to this very day. PE (Bomb Squad) + Ice Cube ='s pure cognitive dopeness!!

Political speaking Cube is top 5 ever to speak on issues that directly effect the AA & poorer communities all across America.

  • @Mackadoeshez well said

  • @Mackadoeshez Jinx did pretty much the whole second album tho, no Bomb Squad involved as far as I know.

  • @TheFunkologist

True, Sir Jinx, Ice Cube & The Boogiemen did most of the production for Death Cetificate. Bomb Squad was on Amerikka'sMW & Kill At Will.

  • THAT'S RIGHT! Once Upon A Time was an Eazy track, Get Off My Dick And Tell Yo Bitch To Come Here was an Eazy track, Gangstas Fairytale, and a few more were Eazy tracks. The later songs like The Bomb, Endangered Species came and those songs were made closer to the time we released the record. But, a lot of them songs were written already, thats why we could do the record in 2 months, February to March. The record came out in April.

  • @thugzzz1 wrong cube wrote all those for eazy eazy didnt write anything
