  • I have a question my NEW south american cichlids (3 convicts black,1 firemouth, and 1 jack demsey) freak out when the light is on. it is a 15 w and they just stand still as if they are glue to the ground. Please commet back

  • Sweet looking tank and sweet looking fish. Super cool GT and that is probably one of the biggest silver dollars I have ever seen. What size aquarium are these fish in? I know it is an old video from the looks of it, but figured I would try and ask anyway. Keep up the good work!

  • @Batboi3000

    150 gallon, it's 72" x 18" x 28"

  • I am working on a 125 gallon South American tank.

  • I cant say the name right but i have that lepord looking fish but mine i bigger and has teeth.

  • @nappdound its a jaguar cichlid. or parachromis manguenisis. excuse me if i spelled it wrong.

  • That's a beautiful tank!

  • Nice substrate, what is it? Really sets off the tank, good one mate!

  • can i put a texas with my gt and con

  • what type of texas? red or green?

  • well it was green but it passed away a couple days ago bc of my gt horrassing it. rite now i have an oscar and gt those get along great. i gave my con to a friend so it can breed. but im going to buy another one soon

  • nice im getting new juvis on the weekend im getting two gts 2 oscars 2 firemouths and maybe a red devil or midas? what do you think first they will go to my 20 gallon as a grow out untill they are 5 or 6 inchs then to my 65 gallon where i will probably just keep three fish

  • @fishyfan95 red devil will kill every thing

  • you can pretty much mix and match cichlids however. i have 3 firemouth, 1 jag, 1 jack, 2 black belts, 1 red devil, 1 severum, 2 tex, a hybrid mix and some other cichlid, and one jewel cichlid and 3 african cichlids all in a 150. they do fine. a little crowding cuts down on aggression. just not too crowded

  • How olds the green terror bro?.... Is the anal fin like a blueish turquoise

  • Can i keep just a pike, fire eel, and jaguar cichlid in a 55 gallon without adding more?

  • i say no, but theres a lot of controversy

  • yes

  • no srry but you would need a 150 gall for all those big fish

  • waaaa that reminds me of my jag king jaguar

i had to give him away but ur fish r beautiful

  • Sorry to hear that, and thanks!

  • awesome tank man

  • Thanks, glad you like it.

  • Wow, GT looks great man.

  • Thanks!

  • where did u get your black sand if you dont mind me askin?

  • It's called 3M Color Quartz and I purchased it from:

    N.T. Ruddock Company

    26123 Broadway Avenue

    Cleveland, Ohio 44146

  • be careful the jaguar cichlid eats alot and they get really aggressive.

  • im pretty sure he knows what hes doing ...

  • also great choice in music, can't go wrong wiht the foo fighters thumbs up.

  • yeah, they are really nice looking fish i just thought the jaguar might of beat the GT up a little bit but thats all good then if they get along i was thinking about trying a jag in my 130 but i thought one would shread my 2 oscars up.

  • do you have any trouble handling agression from your jaguar and green terror cichlid?

  • The aquascape of my tank is doing it's job... with the help of the Silver Dollar's. But this is a new setup for everyone, things change in a blink of an eye with these predators. But so far so good...

  • MY convict keeps my Precious busy. I bet he keeps yours busy too when the Jag isn't doing it.

  • This is a new setup to all the fish, so the Convict is staying out of the way. As of right now, the GT is trying to run the tank.

  • That is typical GT. The convict will still continue to be kept busy though. SAums can't help themselves.

  • yeah encore!! more please 5 stars nice song, thats my dream tank nice jag and green terror i think i also saw a convict. im subbin

  • Awesome, and thanks!! Here is my stocking list: 10" Jaguar, 9" Green Terror, 6" Jack Dempsey, 4 1/2" Convict, 5 Silver Dollars, and a Pleco.

  • if you dont mind me asking how much was everything?

  • I'd say little over 500, tank's used, built the stand and canopy, etc.

  • Great looking fish and setup, cool!

  • Thanks, I am glad you like it.
