Again please don't mind the criticism. Generally the idea is to quickly state the facts in the first few lines and then point to how these were received by the public (wash exam comments in this case) and then what you personally think of it. I usually agree with what you say. However, I think this is a little far fetched. My husband works for a Chrysler Dealership. The owners are very Republican and they are still open. It appears that the dealerships around here that closed were those that either already were on the brink of bankruptcy themselves or didn't have many other brand dealerships (Honda, GM, etc.) around them.  So in other words if they weren't in a competitive market, they were shut down.

I don't disagree that there was some political, Rep./Dem. agenda in the closing. However, I don't think that was the only factor. I'm just speaking from what I have seen here. Across America, it may be different, I don't know.

Look at the proportion of car-dealerships that are Republican, and you will see there is no statistical disparity in the distributions between the ones Obama is "secretly" closing, and the general population.
