Wow, I just can't find words good enough to describe this music. It's just so painfully beautiful that my heart aches, literally! Danny Elfman truly is a genius, his use of quivering string and the bright sound of percussion and bells is perfectly meshed together. The haunting boys chorus adds such a delicate beauty and storybook quality. The deep rumbling sounds of the double bass add a certain maturity and thematic element. It's dark, poignant, melancholic and it induces a feeling of guilt..

2:13 When i was younger I had Mrs. Doubfire on video and before the film there was the trailer for Edward Scissorhands. At the end of it, this section of the music played with the image of Edward alone in his castle, working on the ice sculptures. From then, I was HAUNTED by it - in dreams and nightmares - i couldn't escape it. Years later, such childhood fear and intrigue still remains - whilst its beautiful and I see the film's message I cannot deny a shiver goes down my spine when i hear it.

Danny Elfman truly surpassed himself when he scored the soundtrack to the movie. Such a wonderful album. Full of joy, sadness, anger and a million other emotions I can't even begin to describe here!

u know whats amazing ? he made an album called " solo " i think.... i never heard much oingo boing, but i believe it may be very similar, it's like the ( no disrespect intended ) corniest 80's sounding shit ever ! amazing that he composed this, so abstractly differant.

And Edward was walking with her, and was watching Kim and Jim embracing and what not? What song is that?
