a professionael training needs about 6 hours of exercise every day, seven days a week, for years and years!!! you have to create an immense amount of training methods to keep yourself entertained, cause when you loose the fun, and just pull through your everyday routine, you wont be happy, therefor not relaxed, and if your muscles always have to work against their tensed antagonist, you waste energy, and you become slow... never let routine catch your fightingspirit..
There's weight and resistance in pulling the chain straight from being wound up. Helps build strength and speed in your attacks that focus on the same muscles needed to unwind the chain.
There are much better ways to do the above in my opinion,their is a lot of pointless and useless bullshit in Oriental Martial arts and this is coming from someone who has practiced various martial arts for 20 years allmost!

You're right. We have devised so many different and unique ways to train. I will try anything at least once because just doing different movements teaches you more about your body and what is possible.
