u went in summer time wen the clocks go back 1 hour so day time lasts sooooo much longer than in the winter. if u came in the winter time, at 4 the sun sets and rises like 5, so u don't get much sunlight.
It gets dark at 6 or so in winter. Not sure when it rises. The shortest day is Dec21st and we get about 8 hours of daylight. Loving your videos at the mo, there is something quite fun about seeing someone amazed at (what is for me) everyday stuff. There's a good paperlilies video about when she goes shopping in the US that may do the same for you.
The sun stays up pretty late here in Washington State as well. In fact, it's light out until about 10pm during the summer. Of course, in the winter, the sun sets between 430-5pm. *lol*
leesha you need to visit the MAC store in nottingham, although i dont wanna entice you into gettin bankrupt the first week of your trip, but its soooo good, well good for me, its probably tiny compare to the ones in america, but i love it! x
i went there!!! the other day we walked in. i dont think ill be buying anything though, as the prices of things here are a whole lot more expensive than back home :/
oh wow, totally coming up to america to stock up on MAC, the prices went up a few months ago, but didnt realise how high they were until i checked the prices on the american website, enjoy the rest of your trip :)! xx

It gets dark around 4 in winter in England, actually. Yeah, England is a rather peculiar place light-wise.
